I Had high expectations of this firm as been refered to them by a close friend, on my first appointment i was left waiting in a board room for 45 minutes before being attended to which for me was already not a good start , then my attorney which i had been belived was my attorney picked randomly from there pool a junior attorney to represent me after paying upfront 20k which in my expirence to be held was a total waste of time,money and effort put in when J.H. represented me in a child passport case with my astranged daughter it was my first time in family court very little presense by my attorney was shown and it went to family advocate jhb which my attorney J.H. told me 3 days before she could not attended only to change her mind once again when i said i could not get another attorney to represent me and know all my info. Only for her to say after my discontent that she would see it threw to the end. not even knowing an attorney is not to be present at mediation of which she was late again and kept my file and sat outside for 3 hours while i was inside and she was doing nothing except passing time i assume to charge me. I ended up settling the matter with the mediator and my daughter on that day myself.My juinor attorney then said to me after im not your attorney you need to speek to the man i had origionally sat with in the beginning .Legal representation of this calibre should make you feel safe and comftable not on edge and nervous being left to fend on your own. Was then charged an extra 7k upon closure. Please kindly find a better firm.

I very much recommend that anybody doing business with Thomson Wilks to think twice whether this is really a smart choice.I am a professional photographer having to learn that the legal firm Thomson Wilks made use of one of my photographs on their company's frontpage website without ever having asked for my permission to do so.Considering the fact that they boast with intellectual property being one of their fields of expertise i leave it to everybody's own judgement to how serious this legal firm is about practising the law while so effortlessly breaking it themselves.Even after a having received a takedown notice they still have not removed my photograph.Obviuosly this legal firm needs some private tutoring in intellectual property law. A court hearing in this case will do the job and I will keep the community posted about the progress in this matter.
