A-Tech Roofing and Waterproofing

Had a roof leak that needed repairing. I contacted a few recommended companies, many of whom either never responded or weren't interested. A-Tech came out, viewed the problem and gave me a competitive quotation. The work was done well. Been through 2 winters since with no leaks.

Efficient and friendly service - they get it right first time around!

Apr 2023. We selected A-Tech Roofing and Water proofing to replace barge boards on our house, repair soffits/fascia boards/beading and do some water proofing. The manager/owner did a site visit and a quote was submitted -one of the more expensive offers received (with a 60% deposit). We were fine with that thinking we will get a professional service. We clarified technical details on the offer and insisted on supervision prior agreeing to proceed. They clearly do not do their homework to check on availability of material required. They said they will deliver material before starting the job but did not and didn't communicate any sourcing difficulties before coming to site. They showed up on the day with no material on hand, started stripping old barge boards off the house, whist the supervisor is sent off site to panic buy material at various random hardware stores leaving an unsupervised crew. The material sourced was insufficient, was poor quality, not what was quoted, and in shocking condition (thinner sections than quoted, arrived cracked, chipped, etc. before installation even). To top it off, the new" barge boards were further broken upon installation and then just "patched" and we were expected to accept this poor quality workmanship. We were forced to stop the job on day 2 and settle with a refund. Our old barge boards were destroyed when removed and A-Tech Roofing and Waterproofing still suggested taking the barge boards that they did install off the house to recover their material and just leave us in a position exposed to the elements. At all costs do not deal with A-Tech Roofing and Waterproofing. The business is ill managed

I had a rather big problem after a rather big downpour of rain which affected our roof and gutters on our conservatory. I made contact with Reay and we had a fabulous chat and lots of jokes. I immediately felt comfortable with him. He came to our property the same day, gave me a very good quote and said they could send a team in the next day. I think he really saw my panic and wanted to help quickly. The team of staff arrived the next morning early and they were very courteous and respectful. They explained everything that would be going on and by late that evening, everything was sorted out. The rain came down again, 2 days later and everything was fine. No more dreaded leaks. Thank you Reay and team. You get five gold stars. Much appreciated.

Poor service. This was time wasted for them to come out and do a site inspection. I had to follow up with them, only for them to tell me they couldn't assist or even provide a quote

Recently had a leak in my roof that was noticeable in my living room ceiling.I called multiple suppliers and A-Tech were the most professional. Able to come out the next day. Thorough. Went into and on top the roof to check out the damage and cause. Wrote a thorough quote that supported my ability to get insurance approval.Job was done as soon as I accepted the quote.(By comparison competitors that I contacted for a quote came along several days later. Did not climb on top of or go into the roof and mostly quoted more).All round good experience. Thank you A-Tech team.
