The welcoming was efficient.The drawbacks are as follows:From the parking area to your unit, you walk in front of the other two units and you have to pay for the wood or charcoal.The units are clean, tidy and well laid out.A small kiddies play area can be utilized. Free WIFI.Had a problem with the TV and after contacting the owner, the problem was resolved.We walked around the farm and this should be on your bucket list.A beautiful view can be expected.Place is commendable for a short or longer stay.

Can't rate this place highly enough. Clean, really easy to find, very welcoming host, and you can't beat the views, especially Sunset. Relax with a drink outside, or just enjoy the beautiful interior.

We were pleasantly surprised. The hostess was lovely ,friendly and knowledgeable. She had great local recommendations. The lodging was sooo good! Comfy bed, cute layout, nicely decorated, and the views of the Drakensberg Mountains made for the perfect sundown and breakfast panoramas! If you're in the Winterton area we highly recommend!

Tranquility. Beautiful rooms fully equipped for T/V. Peaceful garden. Aircon. Sherry on arrival and homebaked rusks. Sharpener parking for your car. Although there was TV the surrounding and was more enjoyable. Close to Cathedral Peak Wine farm which a surprise treat.

Great little self catering spot in Central drakensberg. Good attention to detail, thoughtful items for purchase in the fridge and kitchen if you want a drink /snack and don't want to head out. Clean and comfortable in lovely peaceful surroundings.

Simply amazing! The hostess is very friendly, the pricing is decent, the view of the mountain is worth coming back for and the room you stay in, is beautiful and convenient at the same time.The beds are very comfortable, the WIFI is luxurious and there is wood available (free of charge) for one to make a nice fire.The guesthouse is really close to most attractions on the 'Cathedral Peak' side of the Drakensberge.I would definitely recommend one to use Drakensview Self Catering!
