Virgin Active Gym Old Eds

Great gym and great crowd, just one issue is the equipment takes a while to get repaired

Unable to train with loadshedding. Unacceptable. Unsafe at night, people had to leave the gym with cellphone lights. Generator broken. Too expensive to deliver such poor services.

This gym is average compared to some of the other Virgin Active branches. It still makes for a great workout. I love the circuit.

Very good gym, accessible and easy for parking, amongst a varied residential area.

Hi, I am a long standing member at Old Eds as a regular swimmer. In the Winter months, I use the leisure pool as it is slightly warmer than the larger open pool. Over the last few months, I have noticed a deterioration in the maintenance of the leisure pool. The pumps are never working, the water is not treated so its murky.The standard operating procedures are not being followed nor followed up on. This is very disappointing for a regular gym member. At least notify members that the pool pumps are under repair so I don't drive out at 5.30am to find that the pool is not functional. Really poor show Old Eds management! Extremely disappointing for the members :-(

Love this gym but wish they would have more 5am traditional mat pilates classes - good for mental health as well

It is a beautiful Virgin Active gym. It is clean. People are welcoming and helpful.Only challenge is the lack of power back up when there is loadshedding.

One of my favorite gym, the space is big.The equipment is new.

So meat, smells fresh, I love it, so big, had best experience and a lot of gyming equipment

Yoga classes are great, but the actual gym not so much. The aircon is frequently out of order and it's like a sauna when it happens. There isn't a single window to open for ventilation, so not very hygenic from airborn deseases point of view.The WiFi absolutely sucks and the lights in the bathrooms don't work when there's loadshedding.Seriously, please take not Virgin Active and sort out these issue!!!
