The Ostrich Manor family was so welcoming and took care of all my needs. Never felt so at home yet so far away from my home. Amazing experience! Beautiful and peaceful! Definately going back!

We waited for more than 30minutes calling the reception and the phone was just ringing until it reached voicemail. The car park at the manor is in a sorry state, its like a cattle kraal. I felt pity for the one and only ostrich being held captive there. Garden maintenance will help the place look so beautifulHowever there is very friendly staff there

I loved the place... Secluded, intimate and amazing sunset view points. The hosts are lovely, wonderful people. Very supportive & suggestive of all the other attractive places to check out.

Myself and my husband totally and completely enjoyed our honeymoon at The Ostrich Manor.The honeymoon suite was beautiful and the fact that there was no tv gave us an opportunity to bond with each other and enjoy nature.Yvette and her husband are super stars they treated us like we were the only guests there, when I complained about the mosquitos they made sure they gave us a insect repellent plug to make us feel more comfortable.Yvette, Paul is an absolute amazing manager one could not even feel he was alone for a few days.Thankyou to all, this place is amazing

I am amazed at absolutely everything. We came here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and wow wow wow, this place went above and beyond. The hosts made everything so perfect and romantic for us. We will definitely, without a doubt be back here. Maybe a tradition to celebrate our anniversaries here. Impressed beyond words. Food is amazing, room is great, service is on point. Love it. Can't wait to come back.

The buildings and gardens are actually beautiful, though they need maintenance and better cleaning. There was dog poop in the garden outside our room and the pool was green. It's impossible to drive the dirt road especially at night and we saw a few holes in the fences which made us feel a bit unsafe. They advertise all activities and a nature reserve but none of that exists, only sad looking ostriches with no water. The owners are just sitting around all day with the child trying to get attention from customers that just want some quiet time and privacy. They're friendly, but it just doesn't work out at this place.

There was no air-conditioning in the room and the fan was turning but not blowing. It turned the whole room into a furnace, which is ironic, as there was no hot water in the shower. The breakfast was worse than my 6 year Old’s. It was powder scrambled eggs, with a SPAR chicken Vienna and a tomato and mushroom stem relish that looks like it was regurgitated by a farm animal. I will never return there even if it’s free. My suggestion, save yourself and stay away.

Peaceful and hosts are pleasant. However, this place does not allow braais on premises nor does it have any fridges in rooms. The paint is terrible and needs work. Tennis court nor sauna does not function. Tents have communal bathroom facilities and no protection from mosquitoes. The dirt road to enter and exit the premises has no lights. Not worth the rates being asked if you are an avid traveller.

The owners are friendly and attentive. The food is also good. The tents are spacious and clean. The price is even better! I enjoyed my stay there.
