What to start with the good or the bad? Let's start with the good things. The view is wonderful a wide view of the ocean. The host upgraded us instead of the room with kitchen and bathroom he accommodated us in the house of his own accord. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Never seen a house so equipped with electrical sockets.The negative things .. The house is completely abandoned and is patched up to the best of it. The sliding doors to open or close you must have done the gym, the wheels are non-existent, this also applies to the external gate. All doors can be closed with rudimentary padlocks. The walls are dirty, neither washed nor painted for years. Dirty sofas, curtains. The shower full of black mold. A window with a hole. Electric wires torn from the walls. The TV is not connected to anything, even if David the host told us we could use our USB key, but unfortunately without the remote control everything is very difficult. David enters at his pleasure without even knocking, you could be in your underwear, so no privacy. But worst of all the bed is full of bed fleas. Don't forget the musty smell. Why didn't we go away? My husband was sick and he was really exhausted after the 8 hours of travel and I don't think the host will give us back the money spent. Thanks for the upgrade but I think I will never go back.

Beautiful scenery and view. Friendly and helpful nightguard/staff. Dave gave us the info on local shops, food etc. William gave us some great fishing spot tips and even showed us personally where to go. Clean and neat room. Pretty room decor and accessories, very comfy. No kitchen sink inside, using the one outside in the rain with only cold water was not nice. No shower door, very uncomfortable when sharing a room with your kids... Ants and Mozzies galore. Pack the bugspray. Only Microwave, no cooking facilities inside. Very nice braai area and outside dining table. Despite above mentioned little irks... we had a lovely stay and even extended for one more night. Even our dog loved it. Would visit them again in future for sure. March 2019

The best place to De_stress......We ran a bit late , but was no problem ,as Dave Fick waited till we arrived , and it was dark. He is a excellent host . We got lost and he came to fetch us.Their security / maintenance guy William was born in Coffee Bay and knows the fishing spots......The place is actually under rated ,as it as everything you need in the cottages. The sunrise is the best view.
