What a super shop. Yes the owner is straight to the point but having children running around and parents not controlling their kids in this type of store can be very daunting for the owner. Expensive but quaint and everyone wants the unique experience. Beautiful shop with so much history and background. I enjoyed every minute and could spend hours inside the shop. Purchased 3 amazing it's and we super impressed to own them. Thank you

Amazing selection of antiques and general 'things'... Also loved all the old theater lights...You can easily spend a fortune here.. They ain't cheap

The most beautifully merchandised antique shop I have ever had the privilege of going into. They have a very impressive collection of industrial lights, gates, doors, enamel containers and exquisite linens to mention but a few. If you love antiques a worthwhile stop.

first of all: i didnt buy something - YET. but i guess for my beer brewery i will definitily find the perfect things in this amazing store! the parking is very generous and also the location at the R45 between franschoek and paarl is great. is it very big inside and you will find all vintage needs - if not, i would not know where to get it than here. see you soon again!

A walk through the past. Enjoyed all the antiques and old cars we saw. A tad bit expensive. I understand everything is antiques but prices are a bit steep. Otherwise a must see for all. Lots to see.

Great shop full of collectables and authentic antiques, mostly homeware and furniture. Loved the runners and linens. While similar shops can be over full and somewhat disorderly, this one is neat as a pin. A well organised and orderly store with reasonably priced items. Definitely worth a visit.

Warning: if you actually want to buy something, prices are outrageous. They want four times or more what you’d pay in an antique store. Still, this shop is so much fun, with so much history in interesting and attractive displays. They stock everything from old watering cans to typewriters to apothecary glassware, with huge selections of beautiful, vintage lighting. After you win the lottery, you’ll find hundreds of things to buy.

Unbelievable high prices. Best of luck to them. They obviously don't need the money. Their range of items is impressive and if I was rebuilding my home with a antique " look..I would definitely go there and negotiate. Typical of Elgin market look."
