Great school, unique method of education. Teachers are phenomenal.

We moved to Johannesburg in Jan 21. Having moved from the Middle East, our son had to skip 6 months of yr 3 to directly join year 4.We’ve been so grateful to Dr. Thompson and his wonderful team that our son settled in so well into the new year, new class, new school and has had a memorable year at the British International Prepratory school. We are very happy with his overall progress.

Terrible school management, the lack of efficiency was proven during this Pandemic.

This is the interim location for he school while the permanent facility is being completed close by. More importantly, the school is clean and well managed by professionals, and the porta-cabins make it more exciting for the children! Entrance is off Blandford Road

My daughter (10 years, 2021, Stage 5) first enrolled at BIPS nursery and progressed into primary school. She developed at a pace that was beyond her peers according to feedback from their parents and we were very satisfied with the quality of overall education from the school. We lived abroad for 4 years in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Mauritius. The schooling in Mauritius (International Preparatory School) was sub-standard and we found our daughter regressing across all subjects that we eventually made the decision to return to South Africa. We requested to meet the headmaster, Dr. Garth Thompson, who surprised us by taking us to the new premises where the school is presently housed, which was a few months before it was opened. What we saw paralleled the infrastructure of one of the best schools we have ever seen and which delivered academic teaching of superior excellence. This was the British International School, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Our daughter, building on her early primary years at our BIPS (the old one built around the containers), grew and excelled in a truly multi-national environment, under different but welcoming religious conditions. I can tell you from experience, and I am available for reference, that our school led by Dr. Garth Thompson, offers the same superior academic excellence as what we experienced in Jeddah. Our daughter within the first year caught up, re-built her confidence, and is back loving her schooling experienced just as she did in Jeddah. The Mauritius experience is truly forgotten.
