Man guys this place is exactly what I've been looking for to feel like my home country is South Africa, this place has the best pizza, the cheese melts in your mouth with all the amazing flavors of your own choice of 4 toppings we went for salami, mushrooms, olives and fetaYou will not regret coming here... and the service is more than amazing... i am definitely coming here again in the future

1. The restaurant is called Papa Africa and not woodfired Pizza. Even the owner was laughing that someone created a second restaurant on Google maps and so many people are reviewing actually the wrong place / duplicate.2. Storm river village is a gem. The restaurant is located in a side road unter some huuuuge trees. Very beautiful and unique location.3. Ambience and interior is also very tasteful but special and we liked it a lot. Beside the big pizza oven which is warming up the whole place there is another fire place in the middle of the restaurant that the owners put on if it gets colder.4. Pizza is 120 ZAR with 4 ingredients of choice, tomato sauce and cheese is already included. Plenty of choices and it tasted very good. Can't not really compete with Pizza in Italy but def. with all foreign pizza places.5. Owners are like out of a movie, looked like these good people you meet on a farm in the middle of nowhere, caring for each other, the nature and everything. Without all the bad influence from modern media. We saw Daddy taking care of the little girl and sipping espresso with one of the kids. So harmonious and well-raised children. Wife made beautiful espresso as they have the best Profi tools in the restaurant.Absolutely recommended of you stay in Storms River!All the best, we will come back one day.

Such a disappointment! I’m not a person who complains and makes an issue of things. But this restaurant needs to make changes.Drinks:Coffee was way too strong (undrinkable).Tea was way too weak (undrinkable).Service: only one waitress in the whole restaurant. She had her hands full -which is understandable- and battled to provide service to clients timely.Despite the waitress writing down our exact orders, the kitchen failed to give us our order (got all 7 pizzas wrong and we had to send them back).I do hope that the managers ensures changes on these BASIC things as the restaurant has potential.

Coffee and Pizza.. What a wonderful down to earth place. A collection of antique furniture, wood fired pizza oven and fantastic ambiance.Earthy, REAL and definitely worth a visit. Best Gluten free pizza ever (wife's) mine was equally delicious.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

This is a hidden Gem in Storms River, by far THE best pizza I have ever had. Base was super thin which allowed the flavors of the toppings to really shine, a must try. You choose your own toppings which makes the experience better. Don't judge a book by it's cover, place might not look like anything, but it's amazing

My cousin arranged a birthday party here for a large group of people.He even confirmed with owner. When we arrived the staff did not what was going on and the owners phone was off.Not suitable for large parties as almost all of the pizza orders were wrong or had missing ingredients.Bathrooms could also use a spruce up.Only reason for an extra star is because of feb amazing service by the staff who accommodated us besides the owner being AWOL, and presented the birthday girl with a bottle of wine

I waited 70 minutes for a pizza, and I was the only person in the restaurant.When the pizza finally came the chef said sorry, we don't have salami, why not come to me before making the pizza to ask me if I'd like an alternative.Completely incompetent staff.

A pizza place with a back packers meets trendy vibe. The pizzas are good, the beers are cold (local with some craft and international), and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great for a quick dinner and photo op. Since you decide on your toppings (you choose four from a detailed list), the vegetarian options are endless. They also have a coffee machine for your caffeine itch.
