110 % service.I stopped by to ask for a headlight globe for my car.Immediately I was given exactly what I had asked for but things did not stop there. I was asked to bring my car around so a check could get done, that this globe was the correct size for my car fittings. In chatting I asked if there was an upgrade. After a terrible experience with Hout Bay fitment centre installing the wrong car battery which left me in the lurch there was light at the end of this tunnel . I found a little auto spares shop called Hout Bay Auto Spares next to spar on Earl street. It was here where I finally found competence and a wealth of knowledge followed by a instant solution. After explaining what I had been through with the fitment centre and their dodgy business ethics which turned into a expensive loss, the second opinion I got from Hout Bay Auto Spares gave 100% accuracy and I was able to walk away with the correct size car battery. I did not get put under pressure to hand in the flat battery as they not trying to run a chop shop with a buffer in the T's & C's. I received competency, efficiency and a fair priced quality battery with the correct specs. I no longer find myself in the pickle of my car not starting. Hout Bay auto Spares gets 5 stars from me. Its was an absolute pleasure and a major relief to solving a hectic headache.
