Our golden retriever suffered a serious laceration to her foot running through a park pool and ended up in hospital for 4 weeks, almost lost her leg. They honoured every vet bill with no hassles. We would like to thank Medipet for their awesome level of service. We have been with them since 2015 and sadly lost our child Dory this morning. She was diagnosed with diabetes 15 months ago and a lot of people gave up on her but thanks to Medipet she spared for an additional 15 months and they paid all the claims without hesitation. More importantly they showed so much compassion with Dory's passing and a lady called Kerry Vine took the time to give us her sincere condolences. Thank you Medipet for the additional 15 months as the added memories were priceless and we wouldn't trade it for the world. Our pet (border collie) has pre-existing hip dysplasia and is required to undergo complete hip replacement.Where every other medical aid refused to even consider covering her pre-existing condition, the Medipet team did not hesitate to give her cover. The benefit booster is great, they calculate a monthly payment for total cover of the operation (or the amount you need). This benefit is immediately available. Absolutely genius on their part.Name one other pet insurance that does this?The whole experience has been quick, friendly and VERY PROFESSIONAL.Medipet is by far the best pet medical aid, and without a doubt do I recommend them to anyone looking for pet health insurance!Keep up the good work.P.s. My Frenchie has been on Medipet for almost a year now. Over this time she has unfortunately been a frequent flyer at the vet from being hospitalised for Cycad poisoning to the general visits for pups (more than usual for Frenchie pups). Medipet has been absolutely fantastic with covering her vet bills. The claims process is quick and easy and payments are often made within a week. I cannot recommend this pet insurance enough!

Medipet is hands down the best pet insurance that I have ever dealt with. Every lady I have been in communication with was incredible, customer service is outstanding, from when you phone in the lady who answers straight to when your call is transferred. I have dealt with Kerry V in claims, Bianca F and if I rememeber correctly Liezl on my policy documents. All incredible ladies! If you want stress free pet insurance I would highly recommend them. My cat Leo had his tail amputated and it was the easiest claim ever. We so appreciate you!!

Medipet is really a God-sent company that loves animals. Their product is designed to help animals first before any profit. Medipet took on my cat who was 12 years old with leukaemia. The waiting period was only a month. I tried to add my baby several times on a medical aid but she was always refused even at a much younger age without any conditions. When Happy got sick she really got sick, another pet owner at the animal hospital told me about Medipet and I took it immediately. After awhile Happy’s health took a turn for the worst but I had peace of mind knowing I had support from Medipet and I could give my baby a fighting chance without even questioning finances. Medipet kept assisting me as her conditions got worse such as offering booster benefit options and when Happy past on, they were very empathetic as if they lost one of their own. Words cannot explain how thankful I am and I only wish for the best things for the company.
