Best wine tasting experience on our trip

The food was spectacular. The staff were amazing they provided a level of service unparalleled in South Africa. We enjoyed the wine and food pairing. Although this place is pricey I would recommend it to anyone looking to have a very special occasion.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated simple elegant and cozy. The terrace is beautiful too. I was welcomed with a glass of rose champagne. Very nice touch. The trout starter and fish mais course were excellent. Service is outstanding.I am back for a second time. Waitress very arrogant and unpleasant. Only one white wine and no rose. Their wines are imported, not even produced in the region. Very disappointing...hence one star removed. The line fish and panacota were very good. The outdoor terrace is nice and green

I had been to some wine estates in Stellenbosch a few years ago, so by comparison, THIS was the best wine tasting and lunch I have experienced to date. Not only are the wines top quality, but you get to to taste ANY wine (so basically you pick and create your own wine tasting selection) which I think is much better! We paired our wine tasting with lunch. The food was mind-blowing! The gentleman who served us was friendly and professional and knowledgeable about the wines.I would definitely recommend this place for serious wine lovers and foodies. Probably not the best place to bring kids though. I would describe this estate as sophisticated and elegant. Well worth the visit!

Absolutely breathtaking venue and panoramic views - sheltered from the elements of Mother Nature.Delicious and unpretentious food. Staff very friendly, however service a bit slow.

Amazing place in the middle of the valley. Elegant vineyards with a cozy bar carefully decorated that lead you to a gorgeous outdoor space where taste its wines. The fine dining restaurant has a good menu to marinate with the local wines...definitely a great experience if you visit the regio. Only remember that you can’t visit the cellar as far as you requested it during business days

Good commercial wines, very good food in the restaurant, exeptional cheeses from france and well trained fun staff

We made a quick stop to Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons when we were in Franschhoek exploring some vineyards. We opted to try a selection of their South African wine tastings whilst sat outside on their sublime terrace.The service was efficient and friendly, and the tastings were very generous too. Because it’s not on the Franschhoek Wine Tram, it was a very calm and relaxing place, and the perfect way to spend a few hours enjoying some top quality wine.
