Animal Zone Veterinary Hospital

Disclaimer: This is going to be a rather long read so apologies in advance. I would have posted sooner, but due to the last few months being extremely rough for my family, I wanted to post this in a clearer state of mind...Last January we faced the worst decision we have ever had to make: Saying goodbye to Mr. Caiyu. Caiyu was a 12 year old Ridgeback full of life and unbelievable love, but due to a degenerative disease, he was losing mobility. Lumbosacral disease. Whilst I was at work and my wife at home, he literally collapsed outside our front door. His mind wanted to move forward, his body just could not. We were told that there was nothing further that could be done for him by our regular vet (Amazing practice as well). After days of research by my super amazing other half, we came across Laser therapy. this was commonly used abroad and we thankfully managed to find the good folk at Animal Zone who provided MLS therapy. Without hesitation, we booked our consult. Dr. Saimen was extremely thorough in her examination, and suggested that we start him on laser therapy on the same day. Unbelievably to us, after the first treatment, we saw immediate results! No more head slouching, his posture was as if he was 4 again, and he walked with a strut that only our boy had: REGAL... This was a commitment though. Driving 100kms round trip for each visit. Taking him every 2-3 days initially, thereafter every 5, and then weekly for maintenance, Caiyu' s quality of life was great, and that was the most important thing. As this is a degenerative condition though, we knew our time with him was limited. We had to say goodbye on October 30th 2022. I will never forget the tears that myself, my wife and Dr. Saimen shared on that day... If we could not say goodbye to him at home, we are thankful that we were able to there.Now to the amazing folk at Animal Zone:Jayesh: Your kindness and compassion knows no bounds. I will never forget that call you made to me after our other little one passed. It meant a lot to us. You took the time to just chat in general whenever we used to visit and it made an otherwise stressful situation, just a little easier.Renuka: Thank you for being so accommodating with the appointments. And making us always feel welcome.Princess: Where to begin! Caiyu was a very aloof boy, quintessential to the breed, but those he regarded as family, he loved dearly. And he loved you. I know he loved the brushing at every visit and at times when you had to leave the room for whatever reason, he grew agitated at the fact that you were not there.And finally Dr. Saimen: Words cannot even begin to describe the gratitude we have towards you. Your kindness and compassion not just towards those you treat, but the people that bring them in, is nothing short of amazing. Your diligence in how you practice and openness in adopting alternative methods gave us almost a year with our big boy. We will forever be eternally grateful. I at times still miss our Saturday morning consults and conversations about random things happening at that time, just made the whole ordeal easier and you and Jayesh are truly amazing people.I would highly recommend Animal Zone to anyone and everyone I meet, and have been doing so since we came across this little gem of a practice.

Absolutely brilliant veterinary hospital, friendly staff, excellent service. Truly inspiring to see so many strays being taken care ofTruly appreciate the dedication and hard work. This team has taken service to another level that very few in the area can match. Most surprising was the call received the following day, to confirm all was well with both my girls - Sabrina and Twilight. keep up the good work.

I give Animal Zone and Dr Saimen 10 stars if I could. I have been taking all my babies there for years, including my late bunny. She does everything she can to help them even when all hope seems lost.... Everyone there is compassionate and caring and professional ... My babies love going to see her and even manipulates Dr Saimen and her staff into getting extra treats mind you-which they happily oblige to... You can be assured that your babies are in good hands. They are not just patients to her but as much part of her family as they are yours. Everyone at Animal Zone cares and are so friendly and helpful. She gives the best advice and teaches you how to care for your babies as best as possible. She is the best and gives the best care and advice. You will never find a better person to take care of your babies especially when you have no clue where to start. For her its never about the money but the well-being of your baby.

Animal Zone Veterinary offer great service, Very friendly staff even when I've run late twice due to car problems, they've managed to slot me in. Definitely would recommend this vet for your furbabies. :)

Doctor Saimen and staff are the best.Doctor is loving and my fur babies love her, gentle and very caring. She gives the best medical care, even the after care always calls and checks up. I would highly recommend animal zone.

First time i took my pup to Animal Zone as our Vet was already closed.Not only were they truly kind to accommodate me even if afterhours and not being their client but what an amazing and caring Dr and team.My new Vet for my furbabies.
