Many of my items went missing (such as my sunglasses, & perfume) after the cleaners cleaned my room. Furthermore I was triple charged at the Hotel restaurant and not allowed my receipt. The rooms come with very limited towels which are clearly not being restocked/replaced. The place is beautiful so this is really a shame. :(

Attended a function and experienced problems at both the Times Square Casino and Maslow Hotel lifts in the basement to pass the security with a guide dog. They all said the supervisor must first give permission for dogs to enter. Very embarrassing for my friend who depends on her dog to guide her.A gentleman from the surveillance section was EXTREMELY HELPFUL to assist us when we got lost in the basement. Thank you sir you earned another star for this review.

It never disappoints. The staff is welcoming. The rooms, you feel so at home in them. The only thing that needs attention is the breakfast.. The chef needs to look into that

The room was clean and decent, although we had a dripping aircon, which you had to dodge to avoid a cold water splash. Staff all were incredibly friendly, and it's a perfect place to stay if seeing a show at Sunbet Arena. Vibe was festive, so mostly enjoyed.

Conveniently situated in Menlyn,Friendly service. The variety and qualty of breakfast was good. Good almond cappuccino. Rooms were neat. The only major complaint will be the rooms having a stale, smoky, unpleasant odour. We had booked interleading rooms and found one of the rooms with an air purifier diffuser machine which was working on arrival. So they are very well aware of this problem. We could not move rooms as the hotel was fully booked due to the Kevin Hart show being held at the Sun Bets Arena which is literally attached to the hotel, which we attended, and the main reason we booked at The Maslow. Would be worthy of a 4.5 star rating out of 5, in my opinion, if they sort the odour out.

I was there for a business trip. The hotel isn't as old, but it already looks kind of shappy. The air condition in my room didn't worked at all and I told the reception at least 4 times to please have a look, but nothing happened at all. I didn't got any info or anything .... Than I complained again and I needed to change the room at 12 during the night! If you don't book the breakfast directly they compute you 310 rand/day.The service at the reception is really really bad and slow! I never had such a bad experience in a hotel! They are rude and don't help you really with your needs. They didn't gave me water to my room as I asked for it. The women just said you hust get water on the first day- but I know thats not true. One night is almost 1900 rand (without breakfast) - for this I expect something else and to get water.I can't recommend this hotel - the price-performance ratio does not fit at all!!!

Was at the hotel for meetings and used their conference and meeting rooms. Getting to the 2nd floor a problem with limited lift access. Reception staff very dismissive and at a point told us to use the good lift. Just received constant attitude from the front desk. Meeting rooms weren't setup properly lacking power points. Had to specially request extra power 3x before assisted. Conferencing manager was not around much. More junior staff were helpful. Clearly a management issue. Pity because good infrastructure.

So bad, I had a hard time believing I was in a Sun Hotel.1. Every single number on room telephones (e.g. concierge, room service, front desk buttons) don't work. The hotel admitted this - noting that they were working on it". I've never been to a 4/5 Star Hotel that doesn't have working telephones. I had to go to the restaurant in-person to order food - good thing I wasn't on the 15th floor.2. To avoid the room telephones

The best thing about this hotel is the location. We attended a concert at the Sun bet arena and decided to stay over. The bathroom is terrible. You literally have to squeeze in to use the toilet, and I'm small in size! The sink is big, and there isn't any counter space. The room didn't feel clean, I could see dirt in the crevices of the bathroom and there were water marks on the shower door. We ordered room service and that was probably the highlight of our stay, it arrived hot and fresh. I didn't even bother eating breakfast as I just wanted to leave.
