Booked a treat for my Mom for her Birthday. She loved it! The therapist was professional and good. We got lost on the eay there and the Manager came to fetch us in golf cart, super sweet! My impression was that even though everything was fantastic, it lacks a certain something special or magical to make it 5 stars. Very close though.

A whole day wasn’t long enough to take it all in. Beautiful gardens full of interesting plants and a few animals too. I did find the food just a little expensive compared to other gardens I visited on my trip, especially when you factor in the entrance fee.

If you like gardens this is a great expert’s event. We did a 1.5h tour that put us in a good place to walk around more on our own. Food options are good from the coffee shop at the top to tables at Bable and The Bakery in the evening. Service tends to be slow in the restaurants.

Heard such amazing things about this hotel and spa and decided to go for a massage. It was raining and on arrival to the lobby we weren’t provided umbrellas and ended up walking 15min outside in the rain to the spa. I was soaked when I got to the spa and in no mood to get a massage - I’m not sure why simple things like providing an umbrella isn’t done at a place like this - I will never return and just poor service.
