So myself and family get dress,drive to Sea point milky lane.order two waffles and some extra nuts. Get the order no nuts. Waffles are paper thin and cover done.the kids waffles also paper then and under done. The person there just says sorry and looks at me like that's OK ......time ,fuel and only wasted. . Absolutely shocking service. I ordered the two plain waffles with the choice of 4 toppings off ubereats and didn’t receive any toppings and just the waffles. I then called them, on the 5th time they answered and as it was a complaint the phone was out down on my ear. Will definitely not support them again and will not recommend them to any one either. I used to go here every week. Not anymore.

Nobody at the counter to take my order.Shocking!!!Staff didnt help or assist me at all and was disrespectful!! I really do not recommend this milky lane.They were out of cutlery also had to cut my waffle with a spoon

What a shocking experience at Milky Lane Seapoint! The dismal scene outside the shop should have been enough of a deterrent with homeless people sitting against the windows/ walls outside the store. Inside the store was a shock to the system - dirty, noisy with loud music blaring and an interior in desperate need of some TLC. The server behind the counter was totally disinterested, unfriendly and looked like she could have been anywhere else but behind the counter! I associate Milky Lane with ice cream and happiness. The ice cream itself was watery and not the same as ice cream we have eaten at other outlets.What should have been a pleasant Saturday afternoon experience with our 3 year old daughter was just horrid. I expect more from brand that we have loved since our childhood. We will not return to Milky Lane Seapoint.

Customer service can be worked on. Due to the branch not having milk it was difficult for the cashier to just let us get black coffee. We had to pay for a cappuccino to get black coffee. Waffles were delicious.

Really bad customer experience. Not just myself but the customer before me. The cashier took the guys order without even properly acknowledging him and while he’s talking her colleague interrupts her and she blatantly ignores him, he walks out after a minute of not taking down his order. When she takes my order she asks me WHAT DID YOU SAY?! Never will I come back here again. Worst experience ever.

Disgusting customer service, waited a solid 10 minutes at the till for even an acknowledgement of our presence. When we finally got waited on the lady was rude and geniously disinterested, seemed she didn't want to be there. Ordered some waffles, they tasted sour to me. Didn't dare to complain, wouldn't want to force your staff to care. I didn't appreciate the fact that we ordered a sit down dessert and I was called upon to fetch it at the counter, as the only customers at the time I really think they could've have done the extra step. It truely is disappointing, as a customer knowing the Milky Lane and Co brand i will not return to this outlet and ensure to make it known this as a no go branch.

I had a banana waffle which is not something new on the menu. Old favourites will always do. It wasn't crispy but okay. I had a oreo pudding one of the newer options. It was so hot I couldn't touch the glass, no warning that it's going to burn my hands or special holder, the tube glass it came in was too long as the ice cream doesn't mix well with the dense cake at the bottom and I ended up taking ice cream from the waffle to add in order to get it down. The bottom of the cake was burnt and the entire thing wasn't sweet or tasty. They didn't have the ice cream sandwich option either, I assume it was a stock issue. Overall it wasn't a great experience because I had to use a waffle to get down a bad tasting pudding lol I even use the waffle syrups to change the taste of the pudding. Strawberry worked :)

Precious and Primrose at Seapoint MilkyLane went over and above to help me with my sons birthday ice cream cake. These girls take pride in their work. MilkyLane is very luck to have these girls representing their brand.

Myself and my family went to milky lane in sea point and the shop was very dirty ,when my wife told they lady at the till she did not acknowledge the uncleanliness of the shop. My granddaughter ordered a waffle and a soda and when we received it the waffle (which we have had many times before from milky lane) looked absolutely nothing like it should have and when she addressed it with the lady she insisted that the waffle was like that. When we decided to taste the waffle it proved to be bland and the chocolate mousse was more like sludge and was not edible at all. When we received our soda it was not what we ordered either. We then decided to give the food and the soda to a lady on the side of the road ,milky lane refused to let the lady sit in the restaurant and told her to leave , I do not understand how the restaurant is worried about a lady on the side of the road coming in and sitting there (when we bought her the food) when their shop was so dirty. We then got her a take away and apologized to her.The customer service and quality of the food was really not good at all. The lady we dealt with had a very bad attitude.Not a good experience at all.☹️And the only reason I gave them one star is because Google maps requires you to otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered with a star at all.
