Very good service. Never encountered a problem thus far.

My first experience with the Stilfontein traffic department was reasonably good. I applied for my papers and paid with only minor problems - people cutting in line, no clear separation of queues and the general confusion surrounding traffic departments. However, today was not pleasant. The queues are not moving and some people have been waiting for over two hours. Elderly members are made to wait in the sun. And only one.. if at all.. person is present at the counters. The person at the door is rude and not at all helpful. This collection process takes 5 minutes. It's not worth the hours in the sun.Update: 6 weeks later and they still cannot give my papers to me.

Door man accepts bribes at the door sending in everyone willing to pay to get in, old people are made to wait outside in the sun. Covid protocols seem to be ignored by the staff.Stood 2 hours in front of the door without being helped because of the corrupt official.All and all wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Typical bannana republic government office.

Good communication.Used this office for drivers license renewal.Didn’t see wheelchair facilities.

When I went there I was not feeling well and I wasn't expecting anything great because nothing that has government in it functions properly in this country but the level of service from the moment I stepped through that door was through the roof, that time I went there because all the other traffic nearby were flooded with long lines so I took a chance, they were so quick, organized, informative and friendly from the moment you enter to the moment you leave, I even learnt so much about what I was there for because of the lack of knowledge or information I was given by a traffic department nearby in the next town, won't mention names. Anyways I wish every government institution operated the same way as this traffic department, we would flourish as a country and know that we are not paying tax for useless, unskilled, unprofessional and corrupt people, who don't even know what their job entails. I don't really care for reviews but this traffic department deserves it, I have nothing bad to say about the experience I had there.

Not a good experience at all. Was standing in the sun for 1 hour 15 minutes, with no progressing of the row. If we need to adhere to pleads to keep distances and keep safety.....and me, as the public, commit and adhere to that. And respect your workplace.....don't think its out of order or arrogant to ask to be treated with the same respect and dignity. A good day with positive intentions became a day of pure frustration. And still no lisence and no answers to a problem and enquiry trailing now for 6 months.

Wish I could give 0 stars, staff wants to loaf the whole day and play on their phones. I was there 2 days and on both days they were sending people away because of load shedding, me being persistent, waited it out and saw that these people like loafing. Played on their phones the whole day even when power was restored.
