Kwa-Mbili Game Lodge

Had an amazing time with family, food was well prepared and delicious, great game drives with rangers sharing knowledge of the Bush and animals we encountered, met lovely fellow guests, thank you Ross and your team we had a great time in Kwambili.

Wow, home away from home. From the time we arrived, we had 1st class treatment from Tina, Ross, Andy, Matt, Eddy, Cathy and the rest of the team. We never wanted for anything and we will be back to experience the bush again the Kwa-Mbili way.

Thank you all at Kwa-Mbili for the 5 star service, the attention to detail and providing us with an incredible African bush experience.Was amazing to be so close to nature and getting to see the Big 5 plus many more beautiful birds and animals - we felt so blessed and lucky! Our guides Andi and Tsepho were excellent trackers and were able to take us to see leopard and even a massive python in a tree. These two young men are extremely passionate about their work and truly love what they do. We were so impressed by their extensive knowledge on not only the animals and birds but also the flora and fauna around us.The ladies in the camp spoilt us with delicious meals and dinners and we enjoyed a romantic anniversary dinner on the viewing deck with hyenas and porcupines below us to keep us company while we dined..On our last night we enjoyed a lekker braai" (awesome traditional South African BBQ) in the boma. A must do if you've never experienced this.The tented accommodation was delightful

Where to start:The staff: incredibly corteous and proactive. Ross, Brandon and Eddie - what a team!The facilities: neat and clean, the lodge recalls the out of africa film. The lookout hut enabled us to see wild animals close by, which at night came in to the grounds (no fences...)The food: delicious all the way through, what a great chef in the kitchen.The game drives: we managed to see all the big fives in a few days...so close by you would not believe.Worth every penny of what it costs..We will treasure in our memories the few days spent at Kwa-mbili....

The best trip we've ever been on. The staff was AMAZING, every single person there was attentive and so nice. The lodge was wonderful. It was amazing to sleep in a tent and hear the wildlife at night, but be completely safe! One morning we woke up to a warthog outside our tent window. So special.Our guide and tracker were both out of this world. Passionate, people people, nature loving, knowledgeable. We really felt like we landed the dream team. What a privilege.

Food amazing. Guides incredibly knowledgeable and determined to find us African animals whatever it takes. The staff was lovely. I recommend this lodge with no hesitation!

Very small intimate lodge so you get to know all the other guests .Everything you need and was well priced .Got to see almost everything except the lion's were there day before and day after us sadly but the other guests got to see them .

Newly revamped Kwa-Mbili is amazing, excellent service, excellent food and very knowledgeable and passionate guides. An absolute value for money, genuine African Safari Experience

Definitely one of our best stay in South Africa! Romantic and spacious safari tent, great hospitality, knowledgeable ranger (Tyrone) and tracker, great food and ambiance. On top of that: amazing game!
