I stopped here while on my trip. Absolutely slow service. Could possibly be understaffed but that’s not my problem as a customer. I ordered a breakfast (eggs and bacon). My meal was served in a box due to the place being “too full” and not enough capacity to plate it, yet there weren’t that many people in the seating area. WHO EATS FRIED EGGS FROM A BOX? And I had to wait forever for my meal, with my drink being delayed on top of that. By the time I sat down my appetite was lost after driving so many hours. First and last time eating here. The ladies working in the kitchen were at least friendly but the restaurant in general needs a major system improvement.

It’s the 2nd Jan so I was lucky enough to get fast, and friendly, service. I didn’t grab anything to eat but needed to leave a review on how good this coffee is! I’m particular about my coffee and this one is really good!

Food is good, it's just the coffee...it is very tasty, the barista just usually doesn't make the cuppchino nice and Frothy.

Staff: 5 star. Drinks: 1 star.The staff were very friendly and the cafe is kept very clean, the menu is pretty good for a stop.The drinks were just awful, the cafe latte was weak, almost watery. My suspicions confirmed when multiple other patrons in my group confirmed that the hot chocolates and cappuccinos were watery.Glancing over the reviews, this is a known issue and the cafe has responded to these concerns digitally. The ingredients are likely substandard, or, the staff are instructed by management to dilute the drinks. Management and the owners need to pull up their socks, there is no way any one in my large group would be returning. Especially with there being other coffee options right next door.

Extremely slow service. Took over 40 minutes for our orders to be prepared. Also completely messed up our drink orders. Will not be eating here again and and would not recommend unless you have the patience of a Saint.

I ordered a steak, egg and chips…and received a small piece of meat not nearly enough to be called a steak, but that was not the end of the world. As soos as I cut open my steak there were pieces of blue plastic inside?! There was also no chips included in my meal…even though I ordered a steak, egg AND chips. No cutlery and the staff are extremely unfriendly.There is a Steers and Mochachos next to the café, rather visit them and avoid Fego Café.

Had to wait 30minutes for a toasted sandwich. Definitely not staffed or managed enough to cater for the crowd. Grab a steers burger instead
