I took my laptop there for repairs and I was told that the motherboard was faulty and I should wait because they were gonna organise a spare. I waited but I kept on going to the shop just to check how far are they were. For 2yrs they had my laptop and kept on postponing whenever I'd go their to their shop.Then Lockdown happened and after the regulations were relaxed I visited the shop only to find that the technician working on my laptop was awol and my laptop was not in the shop. That time I had misplaced my receipt. They failed to help me telling me that the system doesn't recognize my name nor my cell numbers. I went home to go look for my receipt, found it, took it to them and to my surprise the system recognized me but my laptop was still not in the shop.I gave them 2weeks to look for it and I asked them to call me even if they don't find it and to my surprise they never called and I then went myself to go enquire and I was told that the laptop is missing. I then asked what was the plan then they said I could take any laptop and they will give me a discount.I told them to give me 5days to go think about it. Went there today to go see what they were offering and the owner told me that my laptop was worth a R1000.00 and he tried to sell me old 2nd hand laptops that were worth R4000.00 max and told me he will give me a R1000.00 discount. I told him I was not interested and that he should find my laptop and return it and he told me that he had stripped it for parts because it was unrepairable without my consent. I decided to leave and I am taking legal actions now in order to get my laptop back.
