Peche have kept our slate roof in good condition for many years. Recently, we decided to replace the old fascia boards and external ceilings because of age. It was a big job, and particularly tricky on a tall building. The staff were all friendly, competent and professional. They worked hard, didn't waste time and did a great job. A pleasure to work with, and we are delighted with the quality of workmanship.

We had our home roof repaired and painted. The service we got from Peche Roofing was great. The staff that worked on our property were respectful and helpful and after each day everything was cleaned and left tidy.

Absolutely terrible experience. The onsite team brought the wrong gutters and then tried to install them in incorrect positions to make it work. They had to be called back multiple times to reinstall the gutters according to the original instructions. They drilled a hole in a gas pipe and left without informing us of the gas leak (even though it was obvious).It seems that good service is only povided on large projects. Very disappointing.

I have never had such an appalling road rage incident in my life. One of your employees or employers almost caused 3 accidents in the span of 2 minutes, with 2 different cars and a delivery bike. Tried to ram me twice, trying to intimidate me and cutting off another to prove his point- Absolutely disgusting, how can you act in such a childish manner with your business details plastered all over the truck? Peche have worked on our roof twice before and the quality of the work was very good - but in terms of customer service, they are poor, don't try and get them back for routine maintenance work on a house. I sent an email saying we needed maintenance done - they could not find a record of either job they had done before, so I emailed them the details. I was told someone would phone me. I followed up via email a few days later. Nothing. After a week I left two messages for Dennis, the boss. He didn't bother phoning either. It's now two weeks and I have not heard from anyone. (Someone else is doing the job as I write.)

Thank you to Denis Peche and team for building a roof structure for one of our creches. They were professional, tidy and quick to complete the job. We were referred to them by another company and were not disappointed. I highly recommend them for all roof projects, big and small.

I've used them at my home and at my office (Glenhazel & Highlands N). I'd had several quotes from others for extensive repair of the house roof , which amounted to R10s of 1000s, but Peche used a workaround which has been very successful in stopping the leaks. At my office I'd had 3 earlier repairs on the roof from other companies, none of which were successful (and for one of which repairs I demanded and received a refund from the company). Peche sorted it out inexpensively and I've had no recurrence of the leak since then.

I have taken some time to review to let my dissatisfaction settle. Alas, it did not (have to spend more to complete and repair). After numerous attempts, discussion and leeway the job was not complete and leaks were left where there were none before. The staff were tardy (10-11h30 to start), could not work during load shedding and left the garden messy (e.g. grass killed by materials left to idle on lawn, hidden rubble and litter left behind). We had good dealings with the site manager but the job was not up to scratch after multiple attempts. Had to abandon before our patience ran out completely. False advertising or staff related? Either way be prepared to monitor their crew and watch for untidy, C/D grade job. We were also nagged for payment even though completion photos were not taken and the job was not signed off until we asked for it. The owner does not deal with you directly.

We spent nearly R500,000 Rand on Peche replacing the existing leaky roof with a KlipLok roof. At first I was very happy with them and asked them to install other roofs on our deck and new bathroom. But the problem is that they don't seem to specify correctly - like they didn't notice we are on the side of Northcliff Hill and exposed to extremes of weather. The result is that every single room has leaked (apart from the bathroom under our deck). And I'm not just talking small leaks - 15 metres of Parapet pouring water into our main living room. We have rusty electrical sockets, water damaged ceilings that need repainting and more. Initially they came along and fixed these problems but after probably more than Fifteen visits - yes that's how many times they have come out - Denis has stopped responding. I have a west facing wall of about 15 metres long that streams water everytime it rains and they want more money to fix despite knowing the challenges at our location from previous roofs they installed on the house that leaked - and not just small leaks floods of water. I ask myself what isthe point of replacing one leaking roof with another? Try a different company.
