I always find parking at convenient place. Shopping is marked by long ques, especially when grants are paid . The products fresh and cheaper especially bakery

Service speed is terribly poor. Tills are often closed at the busiest hours, especially after 15:00 daily. No sense of urgency whatsoever.

I had Vodacom voucher R20 they processed it quickly.

This is disgusting. It's not even worth Petrol to take it back to the shop.

It is known that the Empangeni branch is not very worried about opening tills and customers queuing. 29.11.22 at 16:55 with temporary cashier 32 was my worst experience ever.After standing in the que for quite some time getting to the front and the lady in front of me asked if she can borrow my Smart Shopper card as she forgot hers. The cashier was ready to accept it and then when she looked up at us she told the lady it is not allowed. She the cashier then held up the que for nearly 10 min looking for someone else whos card she can use for the lady.She said you are not allowed to use the same card twice at the same till!!!!!!! Since when. This was not the first time my card helped someone else who forgot their card.She then proceeded and do exactly what she said is not allowed with me. My daughter used my card for her purchases and then I used it..........so where is that rule now?Lucky Spar and Checkers gives PnP a go for their money and it made up my mind now. Empangeni will not see me again.Enough is enough.

Love my PnP, always have great specials and food is always fresh and stacked up full.

Not the most stocked up PnP, but definitely ideal for the essentials. Fruit and veg isn't the freshest and most succulent. Confectionery, cosmetic and snack items are well stocked though. Overally convenient and befitting to most of your needs. Above average experience in a PnP.

They need to employ more cashiers or maybe make the existing ones more productive in terms of speed

And the time is 0830 ...shelves not packed. Staff standing around gossiping.today the queued are horrendous. It is difficult to walk in the aisles as staff are blocking them by parking trolleys on one side and then standing gossiping on the other side .the look I got when I asked them to move !
