What a lovely experience...somewhat satisfying dipping candles. It's a cute set up, you visit the store which is at Piggly Wiggly, you purchase a candle of your choice and then proceed to the candle dipping station where one of the friendly staff assist you with your creation. You can then choose to paint should you have the patience, creative streak and time. You can also choose to just dip it in the selection of colours which still looks super amazing. It's something you must try...young or old...

Fun to dip candles and paint afterwards then take home as a souvenir. A good activity with families or something different for a couple to do on an outing. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Candle Dipping Piggly Wiggly
It was our first time experiencing candle dipping and it was quiet enjoyable. The kids had fun dipping and painting their candles. There are a few variations to choose from. After the candles are dipped you can get creative and paint over them; at this point some of the adults got involved and had some fun as well. The finished product leaves you with a nice memento from a great day.

There was a huge variety of candles to choose from that were very affordable. It included the cost of the candle, dipping the candle and painting. Great experience.

This was really fun! There are so many different candles to choose from and the time you spend here really depends on you.If you're just keen to get your hands involved, 5 minutes is all it takes, if you're out to make a creative masterpiece, you could spend the entire afternoon here.Once you have chosen a candle to dip, you get to choose three colours to dip it into and then can sit and paint it for as long as you'd like. You can did it in more colours, but you'd need to pay for that.Note: you can also buy train tickets here, but the train only runs on weekends and public holidays.

I feel like there are candle places dotted all across South Africa, but this was one of the best. All sorts of shapes and figures to dip and then decorate, and the staff is super helpful. Fun little activity to do, for adults and kiddos.
