You will struggle to find a more knowledgeable, more dedicated or more thorough veterinarian than Izi. She treats all species with the same level of care and compassion, whether it be a venomous snake or a friendly ferret.Izi thinks about her patients long after they have left the clinic and she follows up on their rehabilitation process even months after their initial consultation.I recommend Izi regularly as I know her level of commitment to her patients is second-to-none.

My pygmy bearded dragon came to me with health issues a year ago requiring repeated veterinary attention, and Izi has been amazing in diagnosing and managing his condition and providing support and advice to a first time reptile owner, at times going above and beyond to provide the best care.She is caring and professional, and extremely knowledgeable in all areas of reptile illness and husbandry. I cannot recommend Izi highly enough and feel so very lucky to have her support in caring for my little guy.

It's exciting that we have a board-certified specialist trained and qualified to treat all 'exotic' species - small mammals, birds, reptiles and fish. Izi has the training, knowledge, skill and equipment to perform cutting edge diagnostics and procedures for these species that are increasingly popular as pets, and whose health can be difficult to routinely manage.Most importantly, Izi is a wonderful and compassionate vet, and has been instrumental in helping teach and train vets and nurses in handing, care and procedures required to manage our avian and exotic patients.

Dr Izzy is our rabbit guru. She is a natural with rabbits. Made it so easy to help me get my rabbits the care they desperately needed when they became ill. Working full time I was able to drop them off early, received updates by telephone and collected them after work. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you Dr Izzy.

Dr Izi is the best rabbit savvy vet that I have experienced, both from knowledge/skill standpoint and a explaining-to-the-human standpoint. Dr. Izi goes above and beyond to make sure her animal patients receive the best care possible. She always treats them like they are her most important appointment of the day.Recently, PepperJack was rushed to Dr Izi @Avian and Exotics Service due to gastrointestinal stasis. GI (or gut) stasis is a potentially deadly condition in which the digestive system slows down or stops completely. Dr. Izi attended to PepperJack and provided regular updates (post-surgery). I'm thankful every-day that I have such wonderful people caring for my bunnies.I recommend Dr. Izi @AVESVET to anyone who is seeking a truly dedicated, professional and caring person for your family pets.

If I could give 10 Stars to Practice Manager Megan, I would, and it would be so deserving. After an email to many Sydney vets in desperation, she reached out to me, urging me to come to them, wanting to help & urgently care for my bunny Alexandra, who had stage 4 Sarcoma cancer (too late diagnosed here in Canberra) & was facing a hind leg amputation, if only for palliative care reasons. Late night emails, calls, & texts, for appointments & information, and later during an emergency siezure, .. and constantly for my ongoing emotional support and Lexi's homecare - she and Dr Izzi were an AbsoluteTreasure. No other practice manager finds you KMart or Gumtree locations to buy a spare Pet Carrier on a Saturday in Sydney (on her day off!). I placed my faith, and Lexi's life, care, surgery and well being in their hands, and they did what they could to give her a longer, painfree life, with skill & expertise. An expert surgical team, prompt efficient service, fairly immediate appointments within a week, flexibility, and so accommodating, seeing we were 3.5hrs away. I cannot recommend them Highly enough. And will never hesitate to travel to see them again :)

Super helpful with just a phone call. Amazing to know that there is a 24 hr service to help with birds. Will use them again for emergencies or just a general check up.

I cannot recommend Izi enough! She has provided the best care to my two cockatiels - at the end of one's life, and the beginning of the other's. Izi has shown a huge amount of empathy and care towards my pets, and me. She is extremely knowledgeable, a great communicator, and has always put in so much effort to turn a scary vet visit into a positive experience, no matter what the circumstances have been. I have just been blown away by every interaction that I've had with her, and feel very lucky to have found her to look after my babies!

Izi and her team are amazing! They have been so helpful in providing information, guidance and care for my Bearded Dragon! Such a caring and companionate team!

We have had to take two of our beautiful rescue chickens to see Izi. Our first chicken Dora, had to be put to sleep which was very sad and difficult for us. Izi was so kind and understanding and we are very grateful. Our second chicken has had to have repeated visits to see Izi. Our chicken seems to have no fear or distress when we take her which indicates to me how kindly Izi treats her. Our visits are always thorough and we never feel we are rushed or not given information. Thank you Izi, we were all lucky to find you.
