Within 3minutes of walking into the shop I enquired on why they had Jungle Bars that exceeded two entire years after Best Before date, the shopkeeper condescendingly asked me, “Can you read the sign on the door?”Perplexed, I just stared at her expectantly. She further asked if I am able to read the sign on the door, which had an approximately A4 sized poster staying that they sell foods that “are close to/ have passed BB date”.I am appalled that there is even such a shop selling expired food items as a norm just because ‘they are cheaper for the consumers’ - what about consumer health?Their slogan reads, “Your FRIENDLY DISCOUNT store, and even that clearly expired probably two years ago.

I honestly can say that I have not had a problem at the store at all. The two sisters are always friendly and willing to help. If you don't want to purchase past sell by date commodities which is not always the case then don't go there as per the last person's post. I enjoy the store and there is a good vibe in it
