Dr Philip has changed my life tremendously!I was addicted to prescription medication and 6 months later I couldn't even imagine how he has helped me through the darkest period of my life.He works closely with Dr Schuler who is also a highly qualified psychiatrist!I was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD.The only regret i have is not meeting Dr Philip earlier in my life!He is the best psychologist in South Africa in his Field,And i will never again try someone else!

I was referred to this psychologist by my previous psychiatrist Dr Rossouw who was not at all kind to me. Unfortunately, I wish I was never referred to Dr Philip Van Rensburg because this dr has no empathy, listening skills or any sort of compassion. I unfortunately felt judged by this dr for every time I express myself. This therapist unfortunately did not discuss any treatment plan or goals with me whatsoever and does not provide a variety of tools regarding my treatment. I needed actual help with a variety of therapy goals and techniques, not just a one size fits all approach especially for person like me with ASD(Asperger's). When I went to the new therapist they provided me more tools and goals and discussed my treatment thoroughly and with compassion and not brief 30 minute sessions. I felt damaged during the experienceIt is definitely a red flag to know that if a therapist does not provide a variety of treatment goals/adapt their approach or shows no humane concern it is time to reconsider a new therapist.

A phenomenal Phycologist. He's assessments always relates to real life situations. He's always been able to let me see a situation from a different angle and to deal with negative emotions.
