Terrible experience from start to finish

The level of service and willingness to assist has always exceeded expectations. Whilst completing the task may take longer than expected, the ultimate result is achieved. For tucking, cutting, shortening, custom made outfits etc her service works. Covid 19 cloth masks made in different colours are available at a reasonable price.

I was told by Mirriam that I was a difficult and unreasonable customer because I would not except a dress she made for my daughters Matric Dance (made with beautiful embroidered silk fabric from my late Mom) with blue pen marks all over the delicate fabric! All I was asking for was a well made dress that was made with pried and professionalism but after returning countless times and being told many different stories of how the dress was at the dry-cleaners having the pen marks removed ( That was the 3rd trip) the pen marks still all over the dress. The final straw was on the Saturday morning when I was told I was a difficult and unreasonable customer that was putting unreasonable pressure on her!I had paid Mirriam in good faith as I thought she was someone that took pried in her work but I have come away very disappointed and disillusioned and angry. In the ended I removing the pen marks myself. (3 hours with a earbud and OMO Jik) and then sewing the dress back together myself. I would definitely NOT recommend Mirriam's Alteration/Fashions/Dress Maker to anybody.
