As ex-Durbanville locals (who now live in the Eastern Cape) we regularly come back to visit and love to treat ourselves to the famous Joey's and Eatwell Boerewors when we get the chance. On Friday 06/01/2023 we did a blind" (not knowing which is which) boerewors tasting at a braai. The 2 competing boerewors brands were (hands down the absolute best in the whole of Cape Town's Northern Suburbs): Joey's and Eatwell Boerewors. Both brands come in 3 options: thick

Bought beef products - boerewors, sirloin steak, mince and dry wors. The product quality is outstanding, boerewors is phenomenal off the grid, the sirloin is tender and flavourful and the mince us lean and very tasty. Beef is sourced from extensive, grass-based systems which explains the flavour. Staff are very friendly and quick. All protocols observed.

Loved the sausage until last purchase. Recipe was changed without informing the customer. Will not purchase again. I am not the only customer I know with this view. Patties still worth buying.

Simply the best wors " by far. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Offers a wide variety of sauces and other braai related products. You can't go wrong buying the braai pies. Their doëwors is addictive. Parking id not a problem and easy to find."

The BEST boerewors you will ever taste. We never buy anywhere else. I have not tried their other meats but I am sure they are good. The service is always excellent, staff friendly and the shop is very clean.
