Baobabs Bushveld Rest @ Groblersbrug

It was a very nice relaxing stay. The lights are just a bit dim in the room and bathroom, but other than that very nice! Also there are aircon's in the rooms :D

Absolutely stunning. Rooms are well equipped, neat and clean. You can relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. The hosts are friendly and helpful and very accommodating. The food is excellent and tasty. Thanks guys and keep up the good work. You deserve 5 stars!!

Great food, well priced. Good and friendly service. Clean Rest Rooms. Very refreshing and relaxing! A must stop for people traveling to surrounding area and Botswana.

I am posting on behalf of my Mother who stayed at Boabab bushveld rest on 25-27 June 2021.If I could issue Zero stars, I would.My parents stayed over and on arrival the room did not look as advertised. The lights did not work and was not as clean as one would expect.Once reported, someone came to fix the light and replaced the globe. I would think that this should be checked before you arrive to check-in.Nevertheless, they could live with that.What they can't accept is the fact that a family heirloom ring was taken from the room when my parents were not there.My parents explicitly asked that the room NOT be cleaned since they knew that the valuable ring was enclosed in her jewellery box. The place agreed but when my parents returned, they noticed that someone had been in the room.When the person came to fix the light after their check-in, he only put in 1 globe. When they returned on the Saturday night they noticed that there were now 2 globes. Confirming that someone was in the room.Only after their arrival back at home did they notice that my grandmother's ring is missing.When my mother phoned Anel to advise her about the missing ring, she was told that they will check but she doubts that someone took the ring.This is very sad and disappointing. It is something that we can never replace.To the venue, please listen to your clients. Do not enter the rooms if asked not to.I will not recommend this place and none of us will use them in future.

Fantastic place, perfect for anyone wanting to cross Groblersbrug early morning or has just crossed back into SA. Very affordable rates and great value for money. Rooms were clean and well kept. Great restaurant with very generous portions and even better prices. Small shop for the bare necessities and gifts as well. Will always stop here before entering Botswana. Highly reccomend!

I was here for work with colleagues. The service and kindness from everyone is out of this world. It was really homey. The food at the Padstal next door is superb and fresh. Would love to go back again. It is en route to Botswana and definitely worth a stop if you are travelling in the area or a stay over if you are tired of traveling.

Nice and semi quiet even with big road next to it. Room lacked a few basic things but other than that a great place to stop over for a night.Could do with bedside lamps as the main lights way to bright and some double adapter plugs as one don't always carry enough with you.

Arrived very late as we misjudged the distance, but even though we were late, we were received well. What a lovely little place, quiet and oh, the sound of the birds is so awesome. Lovely breakfast we had and the little shop has realy great gifts. Staff and owners are great and the only problem I experienced here is that you cannot leave. The owners are lovely people and full of advice and stories, it's hard to say goodbey. Will for sure come again and mayby little Molly (their puppy)will be bigger.

They are kind. Everyone is, including their dogs. That's all I have to say.
