We moved to Sirari country estate. The estate is very secure and staff are friendly and helpful. Security is so good people do not lock their doors during the day and there are no burglar bars or alarms installed in any of the houses and apartments. It is also quiet and well controlled. The levy is reasonable for the security and conveniences offered.

Sitari Country Estate
I rented an apartment in Sitari County Estate for almost 3 years. This review will cover the good, the bad, and the ugly of the estate.Sitari is an almost idyllic setting; promising safely, luxury, and community. Indeed, the best thing about Sitari is its community of people. The Halloween walk with my son was a highlight and a good example of spontaneous collaboration within the community. The estate is beautifully maintained and is home to blue crane, Guinea fowl, blacksmith lapwings and even a couple of duiker (like deer). It’s safe to walk within the estate and the roadside gardens are beautiful to run through. On the other hand, properties are incredibly small with the house being built a meter or so from the perimeter wall. It may be helpful to know that Sitari is built on a wetland. So, the ground oscillates between slick mud and dry caked clay. There are parts of our garden they seriously never dried throughout the year (see image). Next, take note: Many buildings at Sitari seem to have no ventilation at all! Try find the ventilation holes anywhere. This combined with the high water retention of the soil leads to mold and rising damp. So, the only way to prevent mold we’re told is to open the windows. Problem is, a wetland is prone to mosquitoes too; so it isn’t practical to open the windows when it’s warm but neither is it practical in the cold. During the winter months, the amount of condensation on our windows was extreme on the shady side of the building! Pools of water gather in the windowsills daily (see image). Next, the grounds are gorgeous but they require an army of workers to maintain. (There are always people working on the flowerbeds along the main road.) Furthermore, the whole place seems to be a political mess with a Sitari home owners association, a separate home owners association for each apartment black, and other agents (construction, “approved” plumbers, etc) all pointing fingers at each other.Furthermore, I worry about environmental impact of the estate; particularly on the duiker. They’re incredibly shy animals and with the continuous construction and heavy trucks that move across the state every day… Sadly, I don’t see a happy ending for them. And then, the estate “mows” the wild fields every few weeks. I don’t know how they can protect the lapwings who have nests along the ground. Finally, Sitari Rentals is a real masterpiece of service underdelivery. From a renter perspective, they don’t seem to actually *manage* anything. I had to pay them manually, they take a slice of the pie, and pass the rest on to the landlord. But what they do to earn their slice is beyond me. They seem to be totally reactionary. e.g. Our access to the estate was revoked several times despite renewing our lease. They took weeks and weeks to return our deposit. We had serious issues: sewage and grey water seeping through our walls… and nobody confirmed how we were doing. They said it was grey water, but they didn’t seem to know for sure. (There was clearly a used condom there, so my money is on sewage (see image).) You’d think that, at least, they serve the landlords interests but they weren’t able to attend to these problem despite many, many weeks of warning. When we eventually left they still hadn’t started repairing the damage, resulting in a loss of at least a month of revenue to the owner and possibly more. Not to mention Sitari Rental’s “quarterly” inspections the landlord pays for but which were only carried out annually at best, if at all.So, yeah, it’s a lovely place; no doubt about it, but just be careful, it’s not all roses. The only way I’d even consider buying there is if I could be in control of the construction. And I wouldn’t buy anything made by Manor Homes; not even for a single South African Rand.

Mekava - Amazing coffee, people and decor. Agnes and team are always welcoming and this has become my home away from home during loadshedding where I can work uninterrupted and enjoy my coffee. A place where I have met a lot of people and enjoy lengthy chats ;)Estate - love living here since 2019. Safe to run any time of the day, open spaces for kids to play and apartment itself quality finishes. Wonderful neighbors

Peaceful! Beautiful surroundings! Make sure you have your driver's license with you, or you might end up stranded at the gate when visiting.

Sitari Country Estate
Very upmarket and pleasing to the eye. Great finishes, easy access to main routes, tranquil and quiet.Dislike the management of the estate and poor attention given to issues such as damp, leaks and cracks in the walls.I was treated with total disregard upon exiting the estate. Your agents must be careful as to how they treat clients and tenants. I am not some criminal or any less of a human being just because I could not deal with your teams lack of professionalism and common respect for paying tenants. Not even going to mention Amdecs poor management of tenant and landlord relationships - and of course their attempt to strong arm me into paying for a month's extra rent when the lease had already expired. I could go on but it's just not worth it.helderbergs most iconic estate" - for all the wrong reasons. You lost a good paying tenant and as well as a possible investment as I am looking to buy property."

Many snags in several apartment blocks and unscrupulous estate agents who are well aware of the snags but still markets and sells these so-called new product" properties. Dodgy developers
