It was many-a moon ago... but I learnt under Hans, I only returned to paragliding after 20 years. I wish I had spent more time learning from Hans - I still wish I could visit South Africa and make the most of what Bulwer has to offer.

Hans is a world class instructor, the progression he takes you through while you complete your license is tailored. I have always felt safe and confident on every flight because of the wealth of experience that the Wild Sky instructors have. Bulwer is a beautiful place to learn and get into paragliding and will always welcome you with a friendly face a the club.

A really interesting flying site with charismatic accommodation. Bring your own food as there is a spacious kitchen to prepare food. If you want to have someone else do that the Nip Inn is about 1km down the road and they have a good menu of SA food. Hans was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the mountain, local weather, flora and fauna. A really nice place to hang out for paragliding.

Pitty the wind wasn't kind but still managed a 2 minute flight on my first weekend. :) Facilities and location were excellent. Lovely part of the world.

Google Maps can get you lost sometimes because of loss of internet connection, but the turn off to the Wildsky Lodge is just south of the Bulwer town itself. Look out for their signs. The accommodation is very nicely rural. The flight was absolutely awesome with the take-off and landing area, like a manicured park - no rocks, trees or steep slopes down. And yet one could climb spectacularly and come back to land exactly where you take off, after being able to spend as long as you like gliding around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Hans and Ria are amazing people, when ever I go there, I feel like I have always been there. The area for flying is spectacular.Well worth taking the time and enjoying the time there, even if you are not a pilot, the place is amazing for a disconnect from work and all your other stresses.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!! Highly recommend!!! On our honeymoon and went to Hans and Ria for paragliding, what a team they were, from stopping there we felt welcomed and could chat for hours. Ria spent so much time teaching us about the wildlife and nature around Bulwer and Hans was incredible with his flight, taking you through step by step, explaining everything and teaching you everything in the sky, felt incredibly safe with him in the air, this is a must do for anyone in the area!! My new wife and I really enjoyed every moment of this experience, thanks Hans and Ria, youll forever be a special part of our honeymoon!!

Hansie is the best in business! Smoothest ever flight and landing!! No matter how restless you are Ria and Hansie will make you feel comfortable!! 5 stars will surely come back for another one :)
