Vebas Aquariums

Been shopping here for many years, great selection of different fish to choose from, good range of aquarium related products such as fish food, filters, pumps, light globes, chemical treatments etc.Friendly knowledgeable staff ,always enjoy my visits to Vebas, would recommend to anyone looking for a great fish & aquarium shop.

I love this place.They have an incredibly wide range of fish: tropical, cold water, fresh and salt. I’ve seen seahorses here that look amazing. Maybe one day I can ask for advice about setting up a tank. Most of the staff are incredibly friendly. I’ve only had one rude encounter and am putting that to “he’s having a bad day” no idea if he was or not but I’m willing to put that aside and keep coming back. They have an amazing range of products: food, plants, tech, tanks. Their displays are also very beautiful.It’s no wonder they get so busy! I try to come in when it’s a bit slower but there doesn’t seem to be many lulls.When we moved from Melbourne it took me a while to stock up all of my tanks. Most of my fish came from here and a few of my anubia plants. I remember coming here with my family ten times in one month! One staff member let my 3yo son feed the big fish. His first experience with big fish and it made a great impression! His second betta, Superman, a blue/black/red half moon male betta came from here and he’s still looking after it, doing water tests with the API kits we bought. Thank you Vebas for positively influencing my son with this hobby.We’d come more often if it were closer.

Store is nice and tidy, great variety of fish, and the staff have been incredibly accommodating. Extra thanks to Phil for patiently answering all my questions on substrate, tanks and filtration!

Always great,fish are healthy, good prices I like buying my fighting fish here because they are not kept in little containers like they have them in aquotix aquariums which I think is cruel

WOW!!! what a place. Amazing selection of pond and aquarium creatures, plants and products. Very helpful staff.We'll worth the visit.

You know what, this product killed 3 and a lot of snails in my aquarium. I used a double dose which it said could be used safely.However, 1 star might be a bit mean, I guess it's not the store's fault. They shouldn't endorse the stuff though, so 2 stars for the recommendation.Beware Seachem.I don't know what happened, but this stuff is intense and if you are going to use it (which I don't recommend) it's lying about the safety of a double dose.

Bought 4 Little Maingarno s & 4 little Mapungas all doing well. Bought my fish tank from them 14 years ago. ❤️⚡

Great shop. Huge range. Sometimes getting served can be a pain.
