Alluvia Boutique Winery

A beautiful venue with great views. Make sure that you book seating on the deck or else you won’t get to really see the views. The waiters were friendly. The food was okay. There is a limited menu.The wine is fantastic but I would not recommend the wine tasting. We only had an option of either 3 or 4 wines. If you want a memorable wine tasting experience, look elsewhere. There were no food options for wine pairing available as advertised. We were told by the manager that a table booking is generally valid for two hours, so we didn’t really feel welcome to spend the whole afternoon there.

Had the fortune to attend a workshop hosted at Alluvia Boutique Winery, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The winery is nestled at the foot of the scenic Helderberg Mountains, and the views are absolutely breathtaking.We had our lunch and dinner at their restaurant and the food and wine was a highlight. The menu offers a range of dishes that are crafted to pair perfectly with the wines, and I was delighted with everything I tried. The standout for me was the grilled steak, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The desserts capped off the meals nicely.Overall great place for a chilled day sipping on wine and enjoying the views.

Was there this morning 10:30am with my familyof 5 and was turned away. All we wanted was just breakfast, the lady just told us the kitchen is closed. I saw this farm on Instagram and I immediately wanted to visit, the experience was a bummer. There way the lady communicated to us seemed very uninterested in serving us. Very disappointed, we drove far to come here. The lady could have went in and asked the chef or did extra effort but she already made up her mind about not serving us. Sad. The lady even suggested we go to another farm next door since they will be accommodating for our kids. That statement made us feel we are disturbing the peace of white people. The friendliest person was the security at gate. We were there 10:30am 7th April 2023.

A lovely little hidden gem.Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great with a stunning view of the mountains. Will definitely return.

Spectacular views!Excellent service by all staff members, Peter at the restaurant was attentive & funny.Location is amazing for visiting Franschhoek & Stellenbosch.Beautiful well equipped hotel rooms. Farm animals in the distance really tied the whole experience together. Using the complementary bikes to cycle to Franschhoek was a highlight. Well done guys we had a wonderful stay & will be back with more friends.

Absolutely met every expectation. Friendly staff - stunning views. I can see why generally this place would be booked out so far in advance. Food is great ..very quiet and serene getaway for a couple or family.

Me and a friend went for breakfast at Alluvia. The food was really good and the service was great. The farm itself is stunning and views breathtaking. There were even animals for the kiddies to view. We wanted to do a wine tasting, but when we went there...it was empty, no furniture, wine or staff. Perhaps we went to the wrong building, but Im pretty sure door said wine tasting ". That was the only wierd thing."

My friends and I headed to Stellenbosch for the day and, having found Alluvia via TikTok, I wanted to show it off to my friends and enjoy a late lunch. I made a reservation a couple of days prior, as I am a planner and like to ensure my friends and I have a good experience. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The service was absolutely phenomenal, some of the best I've encountered. We were offered the option of a quick wine-tasting inside before moving outside to the deck for our late lunch. The wines were enjoyable and priced well for what they were. Our host was knowledgeable and had a beautiful way of explaining the wines to us. Afterwards, we moved to the deck where they had kept aside a table for us and a new host took over. We enjoyed burgers, chips, pizzas, cold beers and cocktails. And the food is just as good as it looks! Our visit to Alluvia was the perfect end to our day in Stellenbosch, and I hope to visit again. I'm sorry I did not get our hosts/waiters' names (long day!) but you were absolutely fantastic, thank you so much for giving us a memorable experience.

Amazing experience. The views are absolutely breathtaking and staff are very friendly - our waiter AJ was the best! Chicken burgers were a tad bit dry but all other meals ordered were 10/10. Will definitely be back!
