A lovely place to swim. There is no backwash or sidewash. The boats to launch and come in here.

Granny's Pool uMhlanga
Really enjoyed the time spent at this beach. Cleaned daily. Great promenade to walk along. The whalebone pier is also very close by as well as the lighthouse. Lots of rock pools to explore. Great swimming beach. Lifeguards on duty. Have toilets and change rooms but I didn't use them. Lots of outdoor showers and taps along the way to clean up. Lots of space to just chill or sunbathe. Great family space. Lots of eateries close by. Parking can be problematic especially when it's peak season. Lots of police patrolling the area. It is generally a safe beach but don't keep ur valuables lying around. Really enjoyed our time spent here.
