Saldanha Bay Inn

The bedding was soiled. The parking definitely a problem. The entrance gate is long overdue for repair. The hostess was not helpful .At her best she was only accommodating with the bare basics,and she had no way to communicate problems with her phone.And to top it all she gave feedback that we actually stole a picture from this room.She apparently only retracted the once I phoned them back and explained that there was not a picture to begin with....

I really enjoyed my stay, the staff was really amazing and accommodating. The rooms were really clean and spacious.I will definitely be back on my next trip

Numerous previous reviews mention the sliding doors get stuck as well as the unsafe loose wall plugs in the rooms. The owner's response to all of them stated that he will look into it.Guess what, still not done.NO INTERNETRoom full of ants.No mosquito or bug repellant in the rooms.Shared kitchen still locked at 08:00 on a Sunday morning and no staff. We had tp check out without breakfast and had to hand in the keys to another guest.Good quality beds and toilet paper though.Pracefull and tranquil.If doors get fixed, I will stay there again.

We had a nice and fantastic stay. The place is located at a good place. It is so peaceful.

Not good at all. Gate out of order open and close make sound like a storm.very disturbing during the night. Promise of security problems with parking.2 entrance same as exit others park at entrance difficulties to move in and out had to call owner which never met.had to negotiate with other visitors at other entrance to drive in. Kitchen is in a state for guests to go and get cutlery etc.

The room was big and i liked the bathroom but the things that bothered me more was that the lining was dirty and we were afraid to sleep on the pillows. Also there were no broom or a mop to clean or atleast give a plates and bowls. The wifi was also a problem, not one of the 2 wifi code didn't work. I do have experience of sleeping at guesthouses so i would know what's right and wrong. I liked the idea of the bed it was big although its 2 beds. And the idea of the tv on the right angle but anyone would like to watch the DSTV channels.

There is no sign announcing the lodge from the street. Just a phone number to call.It was the neighbors who confirmed to us that it was there.After 5 minutes, the goalkeeper arrives!Surprise, the dirt parking is full!The caretaker was not really expecting us, only one of the two rooms we had booked was available.We insist heavily and he finally offers us a second room (we are 6 and the room is already very small for 4)His dog got into the car (with his dirty legs of course), impossible to get him out and the guard smiled and tried nothing! Horrible experience to see the dog paws on the seats!The rooms are dirty and poorly maintained, and dangerous: deplorable and dangerous electricity, exterior doors impossible to lock with the key (we will go to dinner with our valuable belongings), broken tile tiles in the bathroom, dirty shower, dirty sheets , forgotten plastics in the freezer,A horror !We are having dinner outside and always difficult to park when we come back!And here begins the night of horror!From 1:30 to 4:00 in the morning, an unbearable din, laughter, shouting, loud voices ....Until a couple comes out of their room and have sex in the hall of 4 m2 just behind our room (I specify that we have two children who tries to sleep!)We ask them to leave and surprised ... they get dressed and leaveThe guardian hears nothing or does not want to hear anything. It is impossible to sleep!A car parked at 2am in front of my parents-in-law's bedroom .. 10cm from their door, they were very scared and then very hard to get out of their room.We sent an SMS and called the manager during all this din.She says she called her guard but he did not hear anything (he was actually celebrating with the other people)She did not call us back then!In the morning, the portal did not work anymore .... Impossible to go out, trapped!The manager wanted to apologize and offered to pay nothing ... but since she had already taken 100% of the amount, she then refused to repay us as promised.In addition dishonest!

Not what at all that was in the photos on the booking website. There is no dstv or wifi. Not alot of parking space and not very secure. The entrance gate was broken and it looks like a dodgy area. But the rooms are nice and comfy beds. But I will never go there again.

My wife and I love this place,(Gaynor the owner) is very accommodating and go's out the way for the guest's to make there stay very pleasant. We always have a lovely stay here. Staff is very friendly always ready to help out the guests. We will return soon. A big thank you to you Gaynor and your staff. See you guys soon.
