Staff were all super friendly and helpful.Rooms and premises are nice, comfortable and clean with a fireplace in each room.Exteriors could do with some paint, though.Beautiful setting with a brand new spa on site.Highly recommended. The perfect getaway or stopover.

Best place for any occasion, the view is breathtaking and its kids friendly it's perfect for the whole family. I loved every moment of my stay there. Would love to go again in the summer.

Definitely value for money. Felt as if we were in a chalet as opposed to a room, very spacious indeed. Country feel with stunning views and absolutely delicious food. Friendly and courteous staff, will definitely be visiting again.

Awsome place, affordable as a family. However the kids play areas need Urgent attention...the tranpolone area is a bit hazardous. The play room could look better, its stuffy, most of the games doesnt work, the table tennis bats are broken. The seats are also falling over. Lovely staff members very accommodating and flexable. Special thanks to Lavona for All her patience wiyh my booking and trying to make our stay as confortable as possible. Also to Jennifer as we were a bit early and my son wasnt well she suggested to see if the room is ready yet n we may check in. Also Precious she alsways made sure we had what we needed at breakfast time. Alao Banele who came out at night with a smile to light our fire ensuring we'll be kept warm. Keep up the good work everybody even the names I didnt mention.

Wonderful experience. Friendly and highly professional staff. Convenient surroundings. Clean, comfortable and well stocked rooms. Loved every minute of being there. Will definitely be back.

Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Service is great during lunch and dinner but tea time not at all, water and coffee was not hot, had to always ask or remind. Location is beautiful but just too fat for me. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

This lovely hotel was not the greatest with service and attention to detail.Staff was not that helpful when asked questions based on changing of rooms as this was a work booking via travel agent. We had to wait until the next day for things to be resolved. We stayed for two days.The rooms are extremely cold bit has fire place. However, the wood was not that great to fire up,and the reception line was out. We notified the reception lady but to no avail.The views are spectacular at the breakfast/dinner facility. The food is very good and scrumptious. It's best to put it in your order before coming to dine.The food and beverage manager was a bit moody at the time. But overall, the staff is very nice and Assist where they can.

Had a family Sunday Father's Day lunch there. The buffet was good, and so was the service. Didn't like the waiters shouting at each other over the tables/guests though. Apart from that, a very pleasant experience.

The Houw Hoek Hotel is such a beautiful Hotel with friendly staff, beautiful & clean rooms. The most amazing breakfast and dinner. The mountain views are breathtaking. Thank you for making our trip a real home away from home experience and thank you for our Honeymoon suite. We loved it.

We had a most amazing lunch with friends. The hotel is beautifully situated. We're certainly thinking of spending a few days as a getaway from town soon!
