Quieter time of the walk between 11 and 12pm. Friendly ambience lots of greeting and fewer dogs. Lots of parent kids. Running streams awesome.

This is a most beautiful place to visit. Welcome to bring your dogs along. The water flows straight from the mountain so you and your animals can drink it. You can walk around 6km if you do an out and return trip from the Alphen Hotel up to the top of the trails and back again. Great place for trail running, and the best part is... Its safe!

This is a fantastic greenbelt trail with a relatively gentle gradient to it. It's pet friendly and a great place to take the dogs for a walk. There is not too much shade available, so it's best to take walk here in the early morning or late afternoon.It's relatively isolated. If this is a concern, it would be best to go here on weekends which are significantly busier, with loads of people around.
