Thank you ChiChi for the great service and making the whole experience fun.The selection of wines tend towards being bold in flavour.The food was quite good although my fillet was unevenly cooked being rare on one side and medium rare on the other, when I asked for medium rare.The burgers were reported to be very good though.

We enjoyed a superb 5 course tasting meal. The service was excellent as was the food. The wines were well paired and delicious. Altogether it made for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be going back!!

We went to Diemersfontein today as we have only had good experiences with them in the past and the view is amazing but we were so disappointed with the service as well as the new menu. Food options was very limited and unknown foods. We had the idea we were going for a brunch but ended up only eating pudding because of the food options. The service was slow. We had to wait 45minutes for a coffee that was so small you could drink it in one sip.

I am not one to leave reviews, but we had a really bad experience on 27 December 2021. We had visitors from joburg and because we had such an awesome time 2 years ago we decided to introduce them to this great place. We were so disappointed. We made a booking in advance. The lady that helped us was so unfriendly. She had us tasting all 4 wines (red and white) in the same glass and if we ask for anything else she would roll her eyes. The day was so unpleasant. Luckily we booked the next day at a neighbouring farm and had the best treatment ever. Really hope they will improve.

Arrived as the restaurant opened - service was shockingly slow (considering we were the only people there)We waited almost two hours for food - finally having to get the goodies that had not arrived put into take away boxes.Overall, massively let down by the whole experience. The wine tasting was at least nice.

It was a great experience! All staff, friendly and so accommodating they truly made our visit fantastic. The restaurant is open for breakfast only (currently), so we were to have supper at Spur. But after our wine tasting became more indulgent, we grabbed some goodies from the Deli, and the lovely ladies made a delicious platter. The bed was so comfy, we slept so well. We took a walk around the grounds, for some fresh air and we ended off our stay buying some good wine at excellent prices.

The place is ideal for conferences, strategic retreats, and similar events.Diemersfontein is filled with lush green areas and unique art. It creates an ambiance conducive for quiet moments.You can literally hear yourself think.Staff is friendly, food and wines are above standard, and the service is homely !
