Sweetest shopping experience but the payment ques are very long but they move at a rapid pace! The pensioners and senior citizens que is always invaded by young folks who are extremely stubborn.

Thanks Mbali and the security for helping me with Tymebank deposit, but please teach your cashiers if they don't know or not sure about what to do, they need to call higher office to help,had I not been persuasive I might have not got help.but still thanks Mbali.PS: well done store manager for not closing entrance door 15 minutes before closure,I was able to rush in 5 minutes before closing.

The pick n pay maponya doesn't deserve a star. The que is long and there's 4 cashier's on the till while the other tills are closed and is the end of the month. I will never come and shop there again.

Crazy long ques here... prepare your self for the long check out ques before coming here. If your not alone have someone start queing while you shop. There is a 5 or less express line, 10 or less express line, and a senior citizen express line but the ques are still ridiculously long. This pick n pay has a huge variety of items to choose from and is usually well stocked as well. It has a deli, bakery, butchery, clothing section, electronics sections,liquor section and a pharmacy.

The pick n pay at maponya mall is great n all good products all around but the customers service is appalling. I had a bad experience today from a lady by the name of Precious Tshukudu apparently she's the manager there. I'd like to lay a formal complaint if someone can assist me to do so. I'm very unhappy with the service received from someone who should know what customers service entails. Please assist .

They have lots of tills but you find less than 10 of these tills open, long queues especially when it is the end of the month where there’s lots of shoppers. Rather go early in the morning when you want to avoid the long queues.

The quality of food is not bad but the service at the tills tends to get tiring, the express till only have three people stationed. Some of the sales don't quite seem like a sale. I think now it's a sort of trick by using the word Sale". Honestly this pick n pay does not stand out in the slightest of manner compared to the many around South Africa. I am giving three stars because of convenience in a sense of close it is to where I live."
