A Whale of A Time

This has to be the best spot in fish hoek. It Has fantastic views. Well laid out and spacious for what ever group you might have. Well priced and Ivan and his team go the extra mile. It is well worth the vist to take a good hard earned break. It is well situated for shopping and all restaurants. Well done keep it up we will be back.

Thank you Sue and Ivan we had a great holiday and our little apartment was perfect. The view from our balcony was spectacular. Can't wait to come back and hopefully see the whales in the bay.

Absolutely incredible location and very comfortable suites. Each apartment is a self-catering unit with an uninterrupted sea view. Highly recommend!

Incredible view of False Bay. A spacious main room with decent TV and comfortable bed.There's also a kitchen with microwave, fridge, compact oven and washing up sink.There is also a spare room with two single beds.The bathroom has been recently renovated and has a nice bath and shower.The rest of the place probably needs a bit of a makeover, but it's clean and definitely value for money with a view like this and in walking distance of the beach.

Ivan and Angie are great hosts and we had the pleasure of staying in the Neptune 3 bedroom Garden unit. It was a great base to venture to all the popular spots on the peninsular. This is a very home-centric based home-from-home and we loved our stay. Ivan and Angie made everything possible and accompanied us on all our activities and guides. Will definitely go back when the opportunity arises.

We arrived yesterday and all I can say is WOW what a beautiful place it is. Ivan the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us. That is fantastic service. The rooms are spacious and very comfy. We still have 4 more nights here. Archie booked us in and was very friendly. We ate at his restaurant yesterday and also had great food.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this place. The room was spacious and opened up to a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The views of the ocean were breathtaking and added to the overall experience. The check-in and checkout process was very easy and hassle-free. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

To start things off, A nice place has been tainted by a booking.com scam which has charged us 3 times extra for the accommodation and while it is not the owners fault, it is the platform that they have chosen to accommodate their guests. So R7000 accommodation has cost us R28000! And we wait patiently for mastercard to sort out the situation. To top it all off there was electricity maintenance scheduled by the municipality and no one from the premises bothered to check the mail box for the notice which was issued 3 days prior to us arriving.So not having any electricity in the apartment is also compounded y the issue that we cannot access the garage and leave in our car for the day as the battery has not been maintained. All this could of Been easily avoided by a little due diligence and basic maintenance on the garage door motor. To put it bluntly so far, our stay has been pretty kak. Maybe a whale will come visit to make it better. Other than that the place is nice and the view is great .hopefully your experience will be better than ours. Most importantly check who you book through as there are some dodgy #%%* out there on the internet.(Update, the owner offered an extra night accommodation for the electricity problems and luckily the bank has reversed the fraudulent payments, booking.com has taken no responsibility for the unauthorized payments.)
