Bosch Car Service - Speedie Auto Electrics and Mechanical Repairs

The customer service is horrendous, especially from the older guy who I believe is the owner. The lady is nicer.He overcharges you to rip you off. Took my car there for a pink slip, also to service the brake and the driver's window which was stuck due to the motor failure, however, a few months ago I paid him $500 to fix this window issue with additional $550 to fix the rear door actuator bringing the total to $1050 and it broke less than a month after he had “fixed” it. He was now charging me again to get it to fix it. I didn't mind, however, he just makes up numbers, he told me it will cost $960 to service the break and put in a used Motor to fix the power window. Mind you, I just paid him about $500 to fix this window issue. the car is a 2005 VW golf btw. I asked why didn’t he put in the used Motor the first time he “fixed” it? I didn’t get a proper response. I then asked him to break down the $960, the breakdown he gave me came up to $700 including the service fee and GST, which in itself sounded made up, he then said it was going to cost $960 regardless of the breakdown. He knew he had been caught in a lie. When I told him I couldn't afford the $960 he was asking for he said “why didn't You tell me what you could afford when you brought the car in” in an aggressive tone. I thought to myself, he can’t be serious? Now my car has more problems then it did when I took it in. Apart from the driver window not going down every other control from the driver’s door worked, including opening my petrol tank cover, now nothing works. I can no longer control the other windows or release the petrol tank cover. I have to take it to another mechanic. This is the worst service I’ve ever received!!!I believe the 5 stars here are not legit, because I've had terrible experiences both times I took my car to this place. I took the car there the second time to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Friendly and accommodating. They squeezed in an aircon regas job on short notice even though it was the first time I'd ever taken my car there.

I found the staff very skilled and they are reasonably priced. I also appreciated their availability and their honest advice to service my car as efficiently as possible taking into account my budget constraints. Thanks for the great service.

The gentlemen were really nice, however for just an oil change they charged $492 total, with $300 of that amount going just towards labour costs- for A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE! If you're looking for a cost effective mechanic, would recommend not using this one.

I've had several car's rebuilt n maintained at this establishment. N will continue 2 do so because there attention 2 detail is second 2 none.

Highly commended for their services and customer service. They actually make you feel welcome and are happy to assist with everything my car needs. I have been dealing with this business for quite a few years and they are definitely someone you can trust!

I cannot recommend these guys enough. Andre was a pleasure to deal with and explained everything that needed to be done and why it would need to be done. It's really hard finding good and honest mechanics and I'm glad I have come across Speedie in Kingsford.Thank you and I will definitely be back.

We honestly can't falter this business which services all of it's customers individually as a VIP. Excellent setup with professional mechanics. The owner of the business even pulls up his sleeves to ensure your car is running perfectly every time. Be sure to try them out and you won't go anywhere else. They use only quality replacement parts including Ryco filters which are actually covered by your cars manufacturer warranty!
