Doringpoort Safari Lodge

What an awesome place to stay. Colin and his wife were fantastic in assisting with a 60th birthday party, went above and beyond. I would recommend his lodge to anyone. Well done to all involved.

I was there this past weekend. Firstly they didn't mention that music wasn't allowed. They told us when we checked in. One bathroom had NO hot water. They didn't provide us with toilet paper the entire weekend. Two of their bunk beds were terrible, no human being deserve to sleep on those things The only time the manager spoke to us was to tell us our music was loud. I highly DON'T recommend this place. If you are planning to go, just stay home.

Friendly efficient staff.well equiped braai lapa.loved the wild life visiting on the lodge .even had giraffes come nibble at night .bush babies coming up close at the braai area.close to the river with a specially cleared walking path and a bench to relax on...take binoks with...will definately return .pricing also very competative

Amazing hosts colin amd his wife did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible.Good location , some decent animal interactions..

We got maried at Doringpoort Safari Lodge over the long weekend.The weather did not play along, but our lovely hosts did everything in their ability to ensure everything went smooth as this was suposed to be an outside wedding.The venue was awesome and the food was perfect!I highly recommend the lodge, it was an absolutely amazing experience they treated us like royalty!

We were booked at Doringpoort in Soetdoring chalet for the period 17th to the 19th of April, but enjoyed it so much that we stayed another night. Everyting was up to standard as promised on all their ads. Chris and Pat were standing in for Colin and Carien, and were helpful and friendly all the time. Everything in the chalet were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The animals roamed peacefully around in the well kept gardens and even paid us a visit while we braai. I can really recommend Doringpoort Lodge.

I recommend Doringpoort whole heartedly. The service is out of this world, friendly, timeously, and most of all with a smile. They are very eager to answer your questions, and to show you around your chalet etc. They have in house catering and the food was excellent! We got our moneys worth, that's for sure! We booked a longer stay with more patrons for next year with a smile. The cleaners was friendly, and always answering questions and they made sure our unit was clean with towels etc. The gardens and facilities are well kept, clean and blends in beautifully with the surroundings. Allot of animals came to greet us daily and we enjoyed watching all the animals on our doorstep. Load shedding started while we were there and although they noted that the generators will only run from 9 to 9 daily, they still started the back up generators. We really enjoyed our stay and we recommend this lodge to any one with an open heart. Thank you Carien and Colin for this lovely anniversary we had. See you next year!!

Beautiful scenery and sounds of bushveld around you nighttime.Worth the stay and money.

Carien was very accommodating and friendly. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and well serviced everyday of our stay, we will definitely visit Doringpoort again.
