Pont de Val Boutique Hotel

A beautiful venue with so much character and charm. We were there for a family wedding and stayed over. From the friendly and efficient welcome by the security right to the pleasant service staff this was such a wonderful experience. Every venue that we occupied through the course of the wedding was just great, the rooms are well appointed and the overall Pont de Val venue deserves 5 stars.(Please just have some milk available in the booked rooms for coffee and tea...? At the price a few additional amenities could be expected)

Wonderful place to visit. Feels like home away from home. Quite place . Place to distress and breath fresh air. Can't wait to visit again.

Updated After Visit:Booking issues aside, really enjoyed our stay at Pont De Val Apartments. It was a clean, beautiful, safe and enjoyable venue. There is something for everyone to do (kids and parents) simultaneously. Staff are very considerate of guests experience and enjoyment of stay. Will definitely be going back.

The food was great especially the dinner from the restaurant. It was one of the best meals I've had . The views where stunning and the massage we got was so relaxing. The only thing I would suggest is that they get bet WiFi in the rooms and maybe a shuttle service but other than that the staff was friendly and excellent.

Went to a beautiful wedding function at this hotel. The vineyards are beautiful and the architecture is stunning! The ceremony took place under a covered gazebo on the banks of the Vaal River with the reception being held in another beautiful building also on the banks of the river. The food was out of this world and the waitrons were on top form. It was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this venue!

Amazing experience. Had our wedding at Pont de Val, Portia the manager at the hotel and the staff went out of their way for us as the bridal couple and our guests. An amazing experience! The rooms are super awesome with amazing views of the vineyard. A MUST if you love hotels and if you are getting married on the venue. Well done Portia and staff!!! Thank you!

If you are looking for a relaxing short left. Look no further! This place is absolutely GORGEOUS! It is located on a wine farm and nestled in the Vaal. They have a wide range of apartments and hotel rooms to choose from to cater from couples to families. There is a lot to offer at Pont de Val from restaurants, a pool, lakeside view, boat rides, picnics and wine tasting.I stayed at the hotel and loved my room. It was spacious and well decorated overlooking the vineyard. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place to switch off and reset. Food was touch and go. Mussels were great, pasta good, chicken burger meh. Breakfast was good ! Can’t wait to go back here.It is about 1h30 mins from Joburg. The road just before you get to the hotel is really bad and has massive potholes. Expect to be going at a speed of 20km/hr. I was able to drive with a small car just fine. The rest of the road is fine. Highly recommend :)
