Its a beautiful place...but..We were doing a scenic drive in the area and decided to stop in for a quick milkshake but the staff at the Hotel seem utterly useless and not even a little friendly, no one smiles and everything we asked questions about, its like they are doing us a favour just to answer a simple question not even to talk about the service delivery - being a Hotel one would think they understand this is the hospitality sector and a high level of friendliness goes hand-in-hand with it.This Hotel will never see me again and nor will i ever recommend it to anyone going forward, worst Hotel experience ever

Atrocious service.Due to the flooding that happened 2 weeks ago, I was promised a refund for my cancelled stay at Vulintaba. Since then, not a single person can assist me. The telephonic staff are extremely rude. I have not been able to get through to the accountant despite their promises to call me back. As a person who takes client experience into high account, the service thus far has been devastating.

The location is gorgeous.The staff very helpful and friendly.CleanHowever the food on the first day was not so tasty.The pool area is not well maintained.

Most definitely the kakkest service i’ve ever reveived from a hotel “restaurant” .. The R240 seafood that I ordered tasted like those freezed fish fingers you buy at PnP. The expensive steak was so overcooked that a piece of wood would be easier to eat. Most importantly the waiter’s service was non existent. Will never go there again or recommend anyone going there.

Extremely disappointed. Drove quite far to come and enjoy the hike and golf course, only to find out that your facilities are closed and have been closed since last year. Please update your webpage and social media.

Great experience at the resort, delicious food, and friendly service. Unfortunately, the only turn-off is the terrible road getting to the hotel. It's no fault of the hotel, but that really puts you in a bad mood. I hope that gets fixed.

Been here 3 times in the space of 4 months and this place was disappointing EVERY TIME1st time - Got told they cant find my payment(made 3 days before check-in, GM addressed me in the foyer and told me I cant stay on credit in a hotel and i cant stay for free. drove 50km to an atm and back to leave cash at reception to prove I was a paying customer. Next morning I was told they found the payment and no one apologised for any inconvenience or addressed me at all for that matter. The cash was handed over to the person in reception directly in front of me and told to hand it back to me.2nd time - I waited 45mins to get served 1 drink in the restaurant. There was a loud noise in the plumbing that kept waking us up. Other guests also complained about this3rd time - Got told they cant find my payment even though a POP was emailed to them. Got told i cant stay until i show proof that I've paid. Had to call the office at 6/7pm to get someone to send the POP to me. I mailed while at reception and showed the person working there but she still didn't get it, showing the issue wasnt on my side. Had to whatsapp it later that night to prove I had paid.You would think with the amount of reviews of people that had my experience they would start addressing it as an issue on their end and not treat customers like they are there for a free holiday. You would think since they remembered me from the first incident they would also realise that the issue is still on their side.This place does have nice rooms though and a lovely view.

Rooms were fine, but there were no towels they staff said they were finished. The balcony was dirty. When we went for breakfast, there was no sitting place. We had to use the bar table and chairs. The napkins were dirty, even the one's we asked for again.

A lovely and scenic luxury hotel set in the mountains of NewCastle. Secluded and set on the golf course makes this beautiful hotel a must see when in the Kwa Zulu natal region. Friendly and accommodating staff and delicious food is what you can expect when visiting this beautiful resort.
