It may be a great place for visitors but not as much for its employees.Heard they are not allowed to love with their families.And they always work for more than 12 hours at a time. With no overtime pay. And sometimes they don't get pain on time

Good place for a group weekend retreat. They have 4 sleeper, 6 sleeper and 10 sleeper bungalows. Neat and clean. Swimming pool is available. Reasonable rates.

Celebrated my daughter's 21st Birthday at Misty River, 05 Nov 2022, with 22 guests. We had a terrible experience.They failed to adhere to the theme colours we agreed on. The room was too small and close to the noisy & disruptive bar.There was shortage of food, no refills. We were served a meal we did not order, there were not enough utensils and crockery on the tables.In our rooms we had no microwave, tv was not working, stove was not working, no towels, no soap, no toilet rolls. The manager was no where to be found and the staff was not helpful at all.

Misty river hosted my daughters wedding and it turned out to be the best decision we made. The owner and manager Elzeth with her team were professional, kept their promises , delivered on every details and more. She was kind and courteous always. It was a dream setting. Thank you !!

It's a nice place, it's needs more renovations, generator when there's load shedding, water, the chalets needs more revamping.
