The drivers and trackers are the best—incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. The game drive trucks have been converted to electric which is a really nice touch.

This was the nicest place with the best service that me and my family have ever experienced anywhere in the world! The property, the service, the food from the private chef, the master sommelier level wine cellar, the architecture and design, the eco-consciousness, and the activities were literally all of the highest level. This place is for those who want the trip of a lifetime, who want to complete the #1 bucket list vacation experience, and who want the place to stay on a safari that will top anything else.

Cheetah Plains Private Game Reserve
Cheatah plains was an experience of a life time. There are game drives are in the morning and afternoon. Bring something warm, it is cold in the morning. Blankets provided but long trousers and a hat important. Saw so much stuff, guide was outstanding. Very knowledgeable. The accomadation was good, basic but very nice. Good food and company in the evenings. Highly recommended this place!

Oh my goodness, Cheetah Plains is the most amazing place on every level. Everything is 100% 5 stars. Soooo beautiful and zen! We miss being there. We especially have highest praise for the staff- Zan who made sure ALL was perfect, Portia (best massages and most lovely person), Prince (incredible chef- every single meal delicious), Simon (amazing drinks and service), our game drives guide and tracker- Sabelo & Victor—we all had the best experience with them and unforgettable learning. (Still have my blue flag lol). Highly recommend everyone who reads this to book Cheetah Plains! We will most definitely be back!

Cheetah Plains Private Game Reserve
This is the nicest place I have ever stayed, hands down, and I have stayed at many incredible places. The architecture is spectacular. The food incredible, and the surrounding nature and animals just magnificent. But the staff is the secret here - very attentive but not in your face. They keep track of the smallest details and made our stay so memorable - from the guide and tracker to the house manager to the chef and sommelier and really the whole team. Really cannot recommend this place highly enough. I would give it 10 stars out of 5 if I could!

It can't get better than this! We visited a few lodges but this beats all, the experience was amazing and this memory will stay for ever.The atmosphere the employees create is so good, also the knowledge and skills during the game drives are excellent. This is the first lodge where i can say everything is as it meant to be! Special thanks to Willem, Justin, Ephraim and the team.

Cheetah Plains Private Game Reserve
What an unbelievable place! My family and I spent the first part of our holiday at Cheetah Plains and we couldn't have asked for a better start .... great safari drives (big 5 on drive 1!) - excellent guides, Andrew and Ralph were both fantastic! The other staff were friendly, funny and welcoming. The facilities are fabulous, the swimming pool and water hole will keep you entertained for hours! Very comfortable accommodation - I hope the renovations don't detract too much from the natural vibe this place really has going. Thoroughly recommend!!!
