Red Rooftop Bar & Terrace
The rooftop restaurant has delightful views and decent food, but the service was extremely poor. At lunch, there was only one waiter serving five tables, it was difficult to get timely attention, drinks delivery was sporadic and the starters took more than 75 minutes to arrive. The main courses were delivered one or two at a time, over 20 minutes.The most disappointing aspect is despite smoking being illegal in South African restaurants, the hotel brand allows smoking at the tables. This is unacceptable, particularly for an international brand like Radisson, which should be expected to follow local laws and regulations. Overall, the experience was disappointing and it's not recommended for those seeking quality service and adherence to the law. Amazing place for sundowners, great views of the whole city, amazing during spring/summer days. Perfect for seeing the jacarandas during the season. Great wine list for wine lovers, nice and unique cocktail list and great meals for snacking or having a meal.

Red Rooftop Bar & Terrace
This place will never see me again. I brought my family to the rooftop bar for sundowners, but our experience was instantly ruined. Upon arrival in the lobby, one of the hotel receptionists stopped us. In a very unwelcoming manner, he asked if we had a reservation. We explained that we’ve been here numerous times and phoned before to confirm, and never needed to have a reservation to go up to the bar. He then made up a false story, now suddenly claiming that there was a private function at the bar and that we’re not allowed in. Feeling very disappointed, we just left. Later that evening, to my surprise, I discovered through Instagram Stories videos that people posted on the rooftop that day that there was in fact no private function. Instead, it was just a very ordinary day with small groups of people and various empty tables. I got the feeling that the hotel reception selectively decides who they want to give access to the bar or not. Could it be to save space for their friends? Or to close the bar early? Maybe me and my family didn’t fit the kind of guests they want? Who knows! For this reason, I’ll strongly advise you reading this and anyone in my network against visiting this place and suggest checking out the many better rooftop bars in the city instead.

If I could give it a 0 rating I would because bookings were made for valentines day and confirmation was sent but upon arrival we were denied entry because we aren't on the bookings list. Even with proof of confirmation of the booking we were denied. The inconvenience caused by their management is appalling. The was no apology on their end.

Will only go once again for drinks and view.. thays all..We ordered 4 different types of food and none of them were delicious. So disappointed.For the view, there was a construction going on so will onlt go there after a year or so..

Great bar with a beautiful view. The food on the other hand is not so great. The menu can be expanded to have more variety. They also need to improve their mock-tails, mojito to be specific.

It gets all the stars for location and friendly staff. Unrivaled views, cool layout, and close proximity to other restaurantsThe cocktail ordered was a cacophony in a glass but perhaps the usual bar tender did not pitch on the day.

A good treat!Grabbed a quick lunch during work. The space was not over crowded and well maintained.The food was really tasty and the brownies for dessert were decadent.The only thing I would change would be the ice cream!
