Biddulphs International - Port Elizabeth

Biddulphs offered a professional and efficient service that was well-priced. The staff were helpful and friendly and completed the move quickly and carefully. Highly recommended if you are considering them for a full move or part move.

I have utilized Biddulphs on two occasions for my relocation needs, and I must say that I was extremely satisfied with the service they provided. Their exceptional assistance has left a lasting impression, and I am already planning to engage their services again in the future.

I would not recommend. On arrival from Pretoria the items where supposed to be stored in an enclosed area. It was not for several days. One of my TVs got stolen in the process. A staff member at Biddulphs PE informed me only upon delivering the items that the TV “did not reach their warehouse” but does not know what happened to it. My question is why did he not follow up when the consignment reached the warehouse, is that not exactly the purpose of having a shipping list, to have traceability of items and to know who last handled it?! Boxes clearly labeled with “this side up” was carried out from the truck upside down. Big surprise the items in the box broke but we could not claim insurance because we packed the items ourselves. I coincidentally saw the truck drive to our house for delivery, but the truck drove all the way with the cargo doors wide open. In doing so they create a slew of risks that could happen to the items for which the insurance will not pay out. In my experience they are unprofessional and careless with the items they are entrusted with.

I have always used Biddulphs for moving. They're reliable and offer professional and affordable services.

We found Biddulphs efficient, friendly and functional - they knew what they were doing and took out a lot of the concerns and frustrations of moving.

I have had a terrible experience with Biddulphs, moving from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. Cape Town branch was consistently difficult to get hold of, and on the off chance I was able to talk to them they were rude and unhelpful. My belongings were supposed to arrive in Port Elizabeth on Friday, no one answered my calls or emails and my belongings were not delivered. Eventually when I did receive everything my washing machine was severely broken as well as other items in the delivery damaged. I would not recommend using Biddulphs.

I asked Biddulphs to move my furniture from a farm across country. It was done very professionally and delivered promptly although I didn't have time constraints. Also because it was later in the month, their fees were reasonable. Very impressive service.

Because of a previous good experience with Biddulphs and a reasonable quote, we decided to use them again. They did a good job of moving my antique and very heavy piano, and they packed the kitchen well. But I will not let them pack my office, school and art supplies again. And definately not photos and books. Papers that were neatly in folders were just dumped into boxes, certificates that were not framed yet were damaged, and all my gift wrapping paper that I put in a box where it could stay neat were bundled into a box with a clothing iron and some books. Books were damaged and photos too. And I have never had so many damaged boxes (the few of my own I used) before..and I have moved quite alot in my life. If I do use them again I would rather do my own packing, except maybe for the kitchen. But the further I unpack the bigger the IF ever becomes and the angrier I get

I moved from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town on 9 January 2023. Beforehand I called so many moving companies and the one that stood out was Biddulphs. Their representative came personally to my home, looked at all that had to be moved. Explained to me on which days it would be cheaper seeing that I did not have alot of money, and gave me some good advise as to where I also could save money with the move. On the day in question they were professional and caring about my goods and when they delivered it to my storage unit in Cape Town they packed it so brilliantly that I had so much of space left inside my unit to add more goods if I so required.. Thank you so much Biddulphs I have recommended you to some other people also.
