Went to get pies for a friend and while I was there I thought I'd get something for myself, if they had what I wanted.I'm vegetarian and have been since '98 and they sometimes have vegetable curry pies.I asked the guy if they had any vegetable curry pies and he said yes.I asked him how I'd distinguish between my friend's pies and mine, separate brown paper bags.He looked inside the bags and said that mine had a round knob on top.Imagine my horror when I bit into and discovered that it was meat.

Quite a facelift comparing to the old place they had.Meat & veg pies.Milchik pizza.Food quite nice.Waiting time a bit long at times.

My favourite food is shwarma pie. After not having one for 2 years, i found out that this place has. Got a fresh pie from the genisis branch. It was so disappointing that i shed tears when i bit into it

Pies and certain prepared foods are good, but don't buy their beef curry. A few pieces of meat, but most are chunks of FAT. Very disappointed.

Bachelorette tomorrow - Jewish girls. Imagine my heart failure when I realized I should purchase something kosher. Turns out Kosher for 60 pieces of oily junk is R990! compared to the +/- 84 piece platter I was going to purchase for R400, freshly made, tomorrow morning.Lady wouldn't give me an idea of the cost over the phone and whilst I appreciate they were trying to 'do me a favour' - had I known the cost I WOULD NOT HAVE ordered this favour and then I of course felt obliged to pay as I was in store to collect.If it all tastes like heaven - I'll updated my review.Otherwise - that was a mean shock The PieWorks.

I tried to order for a friends kid who was having a bad day via Uber eats and they completely screwed the order up. The woman who answered the phone was rude and could barely speak English properly. Absolutely shocked and horrified with my experience
