I am rating LFT SUD RestaurantGoogle has a tendency to hide / not register places which deserve a bad review.The restraint attached to the lodge deliberately kept us waiting for 3 hours for a simple breakfast. The English breakfast and the omlet was the most terribly made. We were very hungry, but still threw the food in the bin.They deliberately made us wait despite me offering to come back later.It is a terrible shame that a place can have a Monopoly of a market in an area, but get to make customers leave unhappy grumpy and annoyed, spoiling their holiday experience.

This resort is full of pleasant surprises. The rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly, plenty activities for kids and adults and it's only 30 minutes to the nearest town if you really need something they don't have

Had a great relaxing breakaway. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Did the night hike as well as the 4,5 km hike. Recommended.

Currently in chalet 201 for the week. The lodge is beautiful and serene. The kids are well entertained, so safe for them, they've been out playing tennis and exploring since 7am - on their own, they love the games room! The pool is at our doorstep! Perfect break away from the concrete jungle lifestyle. The staff are lovely, so helpful, everyone's always smiling, welcoming and approachable, and so willing to assist. Definitely a place we'll return to!

One of the few Lodges with the most friendly and helpfull staff, from Management, reception, cleaners, maintenance and security. We've spend a week and must say that we have really enjoyed it very much and will be back again.

Beautiful lush-green lawns stretching out from your unit's porch past a refreshing splashpool towards a harmonious careening river. Majestic ancient hills serves as backdrop to your holiday breakaway. Units require some attention to ceiling fans, aircons and showers. Loads of space and well-kept grounds for family biking, hiking or menial strolls.

Staff very friendly from day one up until the last day. Restaurant well priced and not ripping you off. Lots to do for your whole family. Charlets is clean and neat.

If you are looking for time away from the busy city then you will enjoy your stay. Staff are amazing and helpful facilities are amazing. Refurbishing of all units ongoing. The only issue is eskom, but that is outside of the resorts control. Besides, having a mountain holiday and a digital detox at the same time is amazing. Will add Lucky and Madam Sarah are amazing.
